The staff was great. Very nice, welcoming and professional. I greatly appreciate the courtesy we experienced with Rams and Chris. They were very friendly and provided excellent customer service👍👍I also greatly aporeciate them taking us around in the free shuttle van transportatiin to and from the Danbury Mall and to the Danbury Metro North train station. That helped out and upgraded our experience there👍

When we got there we found out the Bar & Grill closed down as well as the Game Room due to the loss of business from the pandemic. The fitness room was also closed with the lights off and the door locked. It was a very small room with barely any equipment so I decided not to push for it to be opened for me. Learning that the amenities were either not available or not up to par was disappointing because I was really looking forward to enjoying these amenities. It is what attracted me to booking that hotel because I knew we would be in a surburban area. We are also from NYC and don't drive. But I learned for future reference to call hotels in advance to see if the amenities are still accurate👍

The Staff, especially Mary Elizabeth at the Front Desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. Overall, the Maron Hotel has been a nice place to stay for the past four years I have been staying with them.

Although there is a light breakfast included with your stay, I wish it had a bit more variety of fruit options to select from. As a vegetarian, this would be a plus, thanks!

The location is very convenient to the Danbury and route 7 area. The breakfast choices were very limited but it is nice to be able to grab something quickly on the way out. Our visit was around the holidays and the hotel was beautifully decorated. Staff was very friendly.

The lobby was freezing cold, and the windows of the room was very drafty. Luckily the heat kicked in quickly and kept the room a comfortable temperature, but we couldn’t open the drapes at all because of how much cold air radiated from the windows.

Great location. Our King Suite was clean and well maintained. It looked new. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and pleasant. Very convenient parking.

The hotel including my room was very clean. The lobby was very nice to look at. The gentleman working the desk was a very delightful and welcoming individual. The woman at the desk in the morning when I was leaving was very friendly as well. I wanted to mention that the water was hot and the spray was wonderful. That was another plus for the hotel.

I had a king size bed which I was looking forward to. I was traveling solo so I had it to myself. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I woke up several times and my back was a mess by the time I finally got up (earlier than planned) and left. I was underwhelmed with the continental breakfast. Small pastries wrapped individually and bagels w/butter or cream cheese, but no toaster. I got to the hotel around 8pm. Not being from the area and it was quite dark out I felt like I was possibly in a questionable part of town. I was uneasy leaving my car in the parking lot and I parked close to the entrance so I didn't have to work far. Maybe if I had been there when it was still light out, I would have a different perspective on the area.

This is an older hotel but is clean and well maintained. Front desk staff was amazing. Was traveling with my brother and aunt and requested an extra bed (cot). Front desk upgraded my room to a two room double bed suite with sleep sofa instead for a small increase. It was much appreciated after a 10 hour drive on our way home. Lots of stores and restaurants in town. Hotel was very quiet, easily accessible to interstate.

The Maron has a great staff that's always upbeat and friendly! The rooms are nice, we stayed in a room with a jacuzzi and I believe there are few rooms like this, which was quite the luxury! I recommend The Maron to anyone traveling to the Danbury area!

The breakfast is pretty anemic and the coffee is not great. Fruit, bagels with cream cheese in saran wrap, coffee and juice. I guess for a quick breakfast on the go it's good, but danish or donuts would be a nice addition.

Room set up is terrific for a family (separate bedroom for parents with comfy bed - kids on pullout couch separated by a bathroom area.) Kids seemed comfortable enough on the pull out couch. Good amount of space. Very clean. This is much more comfortable set up for families. This is the main reason we enjoy this hotel. This is our second time staying here.

Breakfast is not much to get excited about. A little cart with coffee, cheap bagels, whole fruit. Coffee was satisfactory - fresh made. But we are not big breakfast eaters so it was sufficient for us.

Our room was ice cold. We are cold sleepers, and this is literally the coldest room I’ve ever been able to sleep in. It was fantastic!!!!

When we woke up the next morning, somehow the water heater had gone off in the building, so there was no hot water for showers. It took about an hour to be reset by the staff.

It was nice to have a little complimentary coffee, juice, fruit and a pastry. We were lucky to have a microwave in our room, and after zapping the pastry for a few seconds it was divine!

Except for the bathroom the room lighting was WAY too dark. Simply installing brighter light bulbs would easily remedy the situation.
