The location was magnificent and the room was clean and well kept. The room is right across the street from a little beach that was very nice to walk along. There is also a pier that right along the waters edge and a musician was playing under the pavilion nightly.

The restaurant is extremely busy so going out during the day, there was no parking when we returned about 5 pm because there is no reserved parking for room guests. The bed was extremely firm and not comfortable for my taste. Ice trays were provided but no ice machine on property. So arriving with hot sodas and water was disappointing.

Aside from a couple of issues with booking.com's description on the website, it turned out to be a wonderful little hotel right on the Gulf intersecting with a harbor. Regarding the room, there was a dining room table for 4, and the kitchen area has a refrigerator, a little microwave, coffee pot, dishes and flatware. The whole place was nicely furnished with a sofa, soft chair, TV, and coffee table. There was even a little writing desk towards the bedroom. The bedroom had two queen beds, a dresser, and a TV as well. BTW, Great food in the attached restaurant! Between the hotel and the restaurant I have to say I had "Excellent Customer Service" all around and a relaxing stay.

What I didn't like had nothing to do with the hotel. Booking.com's website listed 3 rooms left with a "Beach View" (which I chose). When I got there it was reserved as a canal view. I was told they were out of "Beach Views" days ago. Also that same listing on booking.com said it had a balcony. The "balcony" was the outdoor walkway to the rooms with chairs. That was one heck of a long balcony.

This place is a cool little motel with nice nightlife within very close walking distance. The food was awesome at the restaurant and there was a restaurant across the street with live music. There was a small beach across the street. The room was nice because it was a suite, with the beds in a room separate from the living room and kitchen area. Sofa was a pull out for the kids. The only negative I have to say is the beds were very very firm. Everything else was great.

It was a lovely hotel right off of the coast of a fishing and boat port. We could see the ocean from our balcony through the palm trees. The hotel staff were amazing and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was delicious.

The hotel was fantastic but the location was not as scenic as I wanted. It is definitely a fisherman's paradise, the local beach was very small but there was a nice view of the ocean except for all the boating signs which didn't make for the best of photos.

I really love staying here. The rooms are nice size, the bed is comfy, and I really like how friendly everyone is. I travel alone and feel totally safe! I appreciate the kindness of Mike and Joe the owners. The restaurant is awesome! You can dine outside or just get a drink and take it to your room. I like the chairs outside of the room to sit and look at the beautiful ocean!! I’ve stayed here many times and I’ve been happy every time!! Also, the shower has great water pressure which is very important to me!! The parking lot guys are helpful and friendly. They’ve carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs for me when I have a room on the second floor. I would highly recommend Inn on the Gulf hotel and restaurant!!!

I wish they had a frequent customer reward program since I stay there every 3 months. I would love a free night! Lol

The food was. Absolutely great at the restaurant that you have. I would highly recommend everyone to go there at least once or twice in town to eat there. And the service in the restaurant was great also everybody was friendly helpful and took good care of us.

To have the handicap shower, there was no window in the bedroom and Al was very upset over that that he had no window, for the sunshine to come in.

Comfortable room with sea view. Good restaurant on the property. A bit noisy in the day, but quiet in the night. Great sunset (when weather permits).

Hudson beach cross the road is actually more like embankment. There is very small and shallow swimming area on the right, only usable while high tide. Not directly related with the property, though

We did not eat the breakfast, we ate dinner and it was so good, even our teenage girls liked the food, they gave it an A+, the room was clean, the grounds were clean, everybody was so nice, we will definitely go back again!

The band across the street could have turned down the volume.

Every bit of the stay was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It’s an active location but once you close your room door you heard nothing. Morning walks on the beach were perfect. Birds fish and dolphins every day. Highly recommend.

No complaints at all.

The hotel restaurant serves lunch and dinner. We had dinner both nights at the hotel - fantastic food and service. Best seafood we have had in Florida. Server Sumner was outstanding.

It would have been more convenient if the restaurant served breakfast. However, the manager recommended a good place nearby.
