I loved the location. We are retired military, so I liked being so close to the Hale Koa. I loved the kitchen in the room. We had a city view with an ocean view. Amazing. The staff was so kind and helpful.

There was no microwave in our room and the coffee maker didn't work, so I couldn't make hot tea.

This hotel is overlooked!! So let me start by saying the perks are good. They give you coupons to the restaurant that is attached to the hotel. They also give u a card to watch free movies. The staff really take pride in their jobs here. They offer cheese and wine on certain days. It is affordable hotel. It is located by everything. I loved everything about this place.

The only thing I don't like is the security deposit of 100$ was held on my card and it still haven't been released, but overall 9/10 .

Love this hotel for the chill vibe and value for money. Staff were really friendly. This is a great option if you want a room with a kitchenette and to be located away from the hustle and bustle of the main Waikiki area.

House keeping wasn’t daily - we had to request it 24 hours in advance. Bedding wasn’t the most comfortable and the block out curtains were clearly old and needed replacing.

Great location a short 10 to 15 minute walk through a beautiful park to the beach. Then another 10 minute gorgeous stroll along a beach promenade ( if you feel the need) to Waikiki. We also loved the “partial ocean view” apartment which gave us a great view of both the city and the beach off our balcony. Just a short 10 minute walk into centre of town. The apartment was light, clean, quiet and spacious. Comfortable bed. No breakfast but supermarket across the road and also they give vouchers for hotel based cafe. Reasonably priced, the staff were friendly and natural, and we would definitely stay again.

The pool (which to be honest should be reduntant due to the proximity of the beach) needed a bit more shade.

We had a room with a kitchen and was great to cook your own food. Also hotel provides a BBQ area where you can cook and sit outside. Loved the wine and beer welcome night. They have them 3x a week so we were able to enjoy the Friday night reception. Awesome band and free drinks with cheese and crackers. Food trucks down the road were amazing, the best meals we had all trip, only a few minutes walk from hotel.

The resort fee of $35 a day over and above what we paid on booking.com. Location was okay but not quite anywhere central. It wasn’t really in Waikiki and wasn’t really in the area of Ala Moana for shopping. I think if you want Waikiki and can afford the more central hotels then go there. With the $35 resort fee added on we could of afforded a better hotel in a more central location. BEWARE OF RESORT FEES Pool area was a little small and no umbrellas under the sun beds so makes it hard to sit out all day.

Great location, close to the main areas of Waikiki, but not in the middle of the crowd. The kitchenette is well-equipped, and there is an ABC store and Gas Station next to the hotel. Complementary beach towels and coupons for the fishHook Café is provided. Reasonable value price.

The furniture was a bit old-fashioned and used. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The AC was a bit loud.

Service was excellent! Good place to stay with a baby. Kitchenette was so helpful.

I noticed I have a lot of bug bites after our 2nd night. :(

I liked the quaint yet sophisticated atmosphere. The location was ideal for so many activities i.e. diverse shopping; restaurant dining; accessibility of various methods of transportation; site viewing...moreover, the people were friendly whether tourists, business owners, customer service reps, or military personnel. I appreciate the allowance of my privacy; helpful staff team at the Luana, regardless of the construction or last minute clarification for services. I did not press the issue either; therefore alternatives were impressive or accommodating as well. Thank you for my apartment. I hope & plan to return soon. Respectfully, Desiree Freeman

The Fish Hook was unavailable, even though I was unaware of its location upon arrival.

The apartment comes with a well-stocked kitchen, all of the appliances you could ask for and an uninterrupted view of Waikiki over the park. The gym is a good size and has all of the equipment for a decent workout. The thrice-weekly free wine happy hour with hula dancing and live music is a nice touch. Also, Lei making class if you're there on a monday. Free entry to the island's museums with your room key. DVD rental in the lobby and I could connect my laptop to the TV with the HDMI cable to watch netflix. The staff were very friendly.

We stayed for 4 nights and our small studio hotel room was never cleaned. Apparently you need to be staying for 5 nights or more, and even then you will only get one cleaning. We purposely stayed at a hotel over an Airbnb because we wanted the perks of daily housekeeping. The pool leaves something to be desired. I swam later in the evening and it was in need of a clean. The decor in the room feels very dated, like 1980's or 1990's. The bed was uncomfortable.

location was amazing. we went to honolulu for a conference held at the convention center that was less then 10 mins’ walk away. if you walk in the other direction for 10 mins, you get to the central tourist hub with lots of great restaurants, shopping centers etc. beach is within mins’ walk in virtually all directions. great room. clean, modern enough, had all the amenities we could need. we were pleasantly surprised the room was more spacious than we expected. nice little balcony as well. the staff were all really friendly, helpful, and made our experience staying there even more positive. can’t recommend this place enough! especially for the price!
