Location was wonderful-rooms were quiet except for roosters crowing in am. if you have your air conditioning on you probably can’t hear them.

what was shown as our room from Bookings.com is not what we received. This is a first time occurrence for me. We were supposed to have a suite with water view and a room with Mountain View-not what we received.

We liked being on the East side of Oahu away from the chaos of Waikiki. Location is quiet and peaceful away from the crowds. Room, a small suite, was fine, not massive but big enough for two. Bed was very comfortable and there was a decent little kitchen sufficient to self cater for our 6 day stay. Bathroom was fine, shower only no bathtub. Room had a small balcony where you could sit out and look over the mountains, some rooms had sea views over the bay and much bigger balconies. 'Resort' term is a little ambitious, there are some canoeing facilities, a gym and yoga classes, we didn't use any of this but it was there. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and were happy with our choice, its expensive but not unreasonable for Oahu which is very expensive overall. You absolutely need a rental car here. We found the local access good, we ventured over to Pearl Harbour and Honolulu easily so being on the East side isn't an issue with a rental car. There are lots of much quieter beaches on the East side, you can spend a day on a mile long beach with about 10 people if you want.

Its described as a resort but doesn't have a bar or restaurant which it definitely needs. There aren't any restaurants in walking distance and those in the local area are more fast food. The near area is not really a holiday location which was a positive for us but if you dont have a car it would be very difficult. In bedroom air conditioner was noisy and didn't really cool the lounge.

Why we went, and what we were very pleased to see, was the stunning view from our waterfront cottage. Picture perfect. The cottage was clean with comfortable beds.

The cottages are divided in two with a very thin joining wall. On the first night we had loud neighbours, luckily the next few nights we had a quiet family.

The setting was phenomenal - exactly what we were hoping for in a Hawaiian holiday! The peace and quiet of respectful guests and neighbours. The amenities helped us manage our dietary restrictions. The access to sea kayaks allowed us to have a unique first experience on the ocean. The king-sized beds provided very comfortable sleeps! Staff was helpful with check-in and laundry.

We were sad to leave. Wish we had spent our entire holiday with you!!! We could have enjoyed so much more with you - the sandbar boat excursion and dinner- if we had had more time! Mahalo for the beautiful memories!

the resort is well kept and all the staff were helpful and friendly. the area is beautiful.

Because of COVID no food was served Breakfast was supposed to be included, but was no longer offered and the restaurant was closed. other similar properties had grab and go breakfasts. we were send an email about this prior to our stay. there was a kitchenette in our studio, but with one sauté pan and one pot and a very small fridge cooking was really difficult. the unit didn’t have an actual table, but a coffee table and couch Having to shop for food or driving several miles for meals took time from enjoying the area during our 3 night stay. Most communication was done using google docs.

The resort is located away from the hustle and bustle of the Waikiki area and was easy to get to everywhere. It’s immaculate grounds make it feel like you’re in a Hawaiian jungle. I always prefer to have a place where you have a little kitchenette or kitchen facilities and I loved that they provided a full coffee pot and a good size refrigerator. The beds were comfortable and the porch was really great looking over the bay.

The furnishings in the waterfront cottage were not designed for any kind of family to be inside. Which we were not most of the time. But at night if you wanted to watch a movie in the living room there’s not enough seating and it’s not very comfortable. Also, the parking was not great at all. We may do but it just seemed like it was always a struggle to find a place to park at least it was included in the cost. I am also not a big fan of a Jack and Jill bathroom split between two couples. But again we made it work. We were in Hawaii 😀

Waterfront cottages were wonderful. Lots of space, comfortable bed and helpful staff.

There were only minor things, no water in the workout room or at the front the first night and some cockroach visitors. The fan in the bathroom was awfully noisy and we couldn’t turn our AC down. That being said none of it was a big enough problem to inform staff, in our opinion. The place was great. It was exactly what we were looking for, quiet, out of the city’s hustle and bustle and surrounded by beauty.

The only resort on the east side that was near the water. A quiet place with a small kitchenette & a small porch with a great view. A swimming pool & hot tub was a welcoming site. A floating deck on the water was a nice touch. Staff & housekeeping were absolutely delightful!

Had to asked for morning coffee, clean towels & 24 hour notification to clean the room. A very steep incline to parking lot. Towels for swimming pool has to be picked from the office and return the towel after. outdoor chairs were so uncomfortable & were unraveling and the indoor chairs were just as uncomfortable! Too many uneven walk ways and lots of stairs to rooms. Shop for food & beverages before you arrive. 15 mins to the nearest grocery stores.

We liked the location, the very friendly staff, and the comfortable room.

We didn't like: 1. The fact that there was no restaurant or bar in the resort. 2. It was pretty useless the kitchen when you couldn't buy anything nearby. 3. The fact that the rooms were spread out and there were lots of steps which were not mentioned anywhere. So booking a handicap room and finding lots of stairs was quite disappointing. 4. The shower had no handshower. 5. It was a wedding at the weekend and we just went around because the lobby was occupied by the wedding guests.

Marissa and Kayla were up and beyond helpful to my son and I. My son and I really enjoyed the snorkeling cruise . Capt Ron and Jessie were very informative about the area and what to look for. Enjoyed the sandbar area. I liked to be able to jump in the kayaks and goof off in the water. Really liked our Rooster and his family they came every morning and visited. Had fun geckos!! Really had a nice stay enjoyed the calmness it wasn't a crazy resort more down to earth place. Maholo everyone there!
