Extremely clean. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Breakfast was good. Exercise room has up to date equipment and good selection of free weights. I love love love the built-in bench along the side of the room for suitcases and the hooks to hang jackets and additional smaller bags, etc. It seems every hotel we frequent has just one folding luggage rack and we have to figure out a "non-floor" location for the other suitcase because most hotels don't have extra racks laying around. We don't leave items of any kind on the floor except shoes in case there are any infestation issues. It was also great that there was hard flooring at the entrance where we could leave our shoes.

Room rate was a bit on the high side.

The bed could’ve been more comfortable. I originally asked if we could have a first floor room, due to mom being 93 and hoping she wouldn’t have to walk that far. We got there and was told the only option was on third floor. She was none to happy!! So she probably won’t there next time we visit family

I appreciated that I could get a pet-friendly room on the first floor for a reasonable surcharge. (A flat fee of $30). There were also poop bags provided outside the door closest to my room.

Electric car-charging spots are few and far between in this part of Illinois. I hope that will change in the coming years!

Location was great, the breakfast was wonderful and the staff was excellent!

The only down fall was there was a dead bug on the floor as soon as we opened the door, was worried about other bugs…. Second the bed to me was too hard like some kinda support was in the middle.

Front desk person was kind but talked to fast I was trying to explain my points and he was not listening just wanted to rush me . Didn’t explain the hotel at all as in where things were or times for anything like breakfast etc..

Everything was great, the staff, the rooms, breakfast, location. We had a great stay, would highly recommend.

It’d be awesome if the breakfast hours during the week were the same as the weekends.

The breakfast was excellent! The breakfast bar staff was friendly, pleasant and very helpful!

Pork sausage could have been served every morning. The washing machine could be upgraded.

The room was comfortable and very clean. The front desk staff were very friendly. Chrystal, who ran the breakfast area, was delightful! She chatted easily with guests and made sure they enjoyed breakfast. She kept the food stocked and the area immaculate.

1st night of 3 there was noise all night and morning above us-we were on 2nd floor. Running, jumping, floor/ ceiling noises, scrapes like furniture and chairs moving all the time. I mentioned it to front desk and they told me people on 3rd floor had moved out. Then about 5pm noise started again. Around 9pm it hadn't stopped so I called front desk. Super nice Manager in duty. She personally came up and offered to change our room to the 3rd floor and a suite. Someone had booked kids of 3rd floor above us again! So although we had to pack back up, move floors, unpack, thr next 2 nights were wonderful and quiet. Kind of weird the shower in 2nd floor room was much bigger than the dinky handicap shower stall in 3rd floor room, but worked just fine.

Probably the best place to stay in Galesburg right now. Perfect for families. Excellent facilities and a great breakfast!
