Location, rite next to where the Event was taking place

I Booked flights , car rental and hotel through JetBlue in June 17, 2024 and when we got there it took awhile to look for my reservation#4156964308. When my wife and I were eventually given the room 117 next to elevator rite by main lobby it was very noisy could hear everything. We were told since it was booked through 3rd party that members are given priority. meanwhile we got there early to beat the crowd. We were very disappointed that we had to go through that, We just hope no one has to experience what we went through. Thank you for your time and I just hope it reaches the rite channel of Management. God bless and have a wonder day

The staff was very friendly. I had an issue with my reservation and Deanna was able to straighten it out with no problems. She was super sweet and friendly. All the other staff were great as well. The hotel was clean and easy to access. It was quiet. I liked that the layout of the hotel is exactly like other new Holiday Inn Express hotels.

There were not many places to eat near by and we had to travel to other area's for meals. The free WiFi worked, but lagged some if you were trying to work and do multiple things.

Room was spacious, clean and more than comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions asked. Breakfast was delicious and checkout very easy.

The only thing that I noticed was a reddish brown stain on one of the bath towels. I know some things might get overlooked (especially when doing bulk loads of laundry) but that was the only off-putting thing of our stay.

The breakfast was excellent--really appreciate that the oatmeal was prepared in a slow cooker; loved my cinnamon bagel. The comfort of the bed was exceptional. We had been looking for a quiet, reasonable place close to Chicago. (We make our halfway stop from Minnesota as close to Chicago as possible--we will be coming back here regularly! There is a new, lively shopping area (The Arboretum) nearby which had several meal choices.

The only thing I can think of was the lack of decaf coffee with breakfast--some of us can't have caffeine, and I didn't appreciate the idea of having to make my coffee in the room and carry it down.

Clean and updated

The website did not disclose additional charge amount for pets. Was surprised at the $75 pet fee amount PLUS a $ 75 incidental fee added as well. This should have been clarified online.

Very clean, nice staff, location

I will first say I was traveling with my child and this was Not really the hotels fault but we Couldn’t believe the Absolutely rude/loud hotel guests on the 4th floor we were staying on. Slamming doors and allowing young kids to run around like a playground while the parents did nothing. So much for a good rest.

Beds were very comfortable

Early in the morning when my husband and I were sleeping we believe house keeping kept trying to get into our room. Luckily we had the door stopper but they slammed it a few times before they stopped. Very disruptive and we needed the sleep as we were up late the night before. It was our wedding night.

I was disappointed that there was no yogurt or milk products because your truck did not make it in for delivery. I think the hotel should’ve gone out and bought products from a grocery store. But the gentleman in the area that was there maintaining the breakfast area and the food was fabulous!! He was very nice and helpful and made up for the lacking of the cold products. I would give him a 10+ star!

I thought the price was a little bit higher than compared to the neighboring hotels. The breakfast was good but again you did not have any yogurt or additional cold products.

Very clean and updated. There was a nice pool and work out area. The lobby was large and had lots of options for seating. There was a nice selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic for purchase. The workers were extremely helpful and very friendly.

No hot tub

Very nice, super clean hotel. The staff were friendly and professional. Great location; only about a 15-20 minute drive from O'Hare and an ideal place to stay if you're heading in a northerly direction. Will definitely stay there again!
