Fantastic place. Perfect in every way. Very tastefully restored building. Extremely clean and comfortable. Seriously better than a 5 star hotel. We got a very warm welcome from Justin and everyone we met in town were so friendly.We stopped on way from O’Hare to Springfield and sorry we only had a one night stay as it’s a beautiful small town with lots of character and good eating places. We had dinner in Sovereign , a one minute walk away as recommended and had a lovely meal.

There is nothing negative to say. We’d love to visit again

Easy checkin process (host texts you the access code for the main door and your room door; never met the host); responsiveness of host to questions and requests (i.e., AC is centrally controlled; I found the room to cold for my comfort; host did raise the temp a bit); excellent shower, well functioning Keurig with plenty of coffee to choose from; clean; simple decor; on-site parking; easy walk to plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops.

Lighting is dim; no writing desk (not great for business travelers needing to work); only a cushioned fold-up chair which is not very comfortable (no room for a larger chair). All okay for one night

Very nice and homey little Inn located in a great neighbourhood. Very clean room and kitchen common area. Friendly and helpful staff. Love the free parking spot and having access to a communicable kitchen area. Wonderful location with easy access to restaurants and shops all within walking distance.

Not much to complain about but maybe a little more counter surface in the bathroom or bedroom area would be helpful for longer stays

This place is hands down the most comfortable and cleanest place I’ve ever stayed!!! So quiet and peaceful! I felt like I was at home. The owner(s) are absolutely amazing and accommodating. This will be the ONLY place I stay when I’m in the area.

The room was nicely updated, and the property was gorgeous! The location was perfect, and only a block away from all the wonderful downtown restaurants and bars.

the bed was a little uncomfortable and they turn the AC temps up during the day, so it’s a little warm if you’re in the room during the daytime. Everything else was perfect!

Spotty WiFi; small room; no comfy chair to relax/read in

Our main point of contact was very responsive and helpful. He himself was away on a family trip but still managed to take care of us. The rooms were nicely remodeled, beautiful and clean and GREAT location downtown right off the strip.

We had to reserve two rooms during our stay because they were overbooked. We had hoped they would have been able to accommodate us but they could not and we had to switch rooms during our stay. Thankfully we really liked the new room which was larger previous.

The location was perfect! Easy walk to very cute downtown Plainfield. Justin was friendly and responded quickly to any question. The Inn itself is very nicely decorated and furnished. And quite secure, which was a big plus!

Historic property, close to restaurants and cafes. Comfortable and pleasant stay.

Walls seemed a bit thin & no ability to control individual room temperature. A fan would have been nice.

Quiet location, perfect for Homecoming reunion and parade. Manager was very friendly. Owner is always nice to deal with. I have stayed here several times.

Some of the other guests left broken bottles outside. My husband tried to clean it up to be helpful when we went outside the next morning so nobody would puncture their tires.
