Looking for a diamond in the rough without spending a ton of cash for a place to sleep? This place is for you. Check-in was easy and the staff was very polite. The room was updated and clean, the bed comfortable, and the A/C, although a throwback unit, cooled the room so quickly that we needed to turn it off for the night. The pool/courtyard area was well-kept, and plenty of parking was right outside the room. Breakfast was more than sufficient, with all the amenities of breakfasts at other hotels charging twice the rate. But most of all, the room was half the price of similar accommodations in Vandalia, Greenville, Effington, or Columbus. To be fair, the architecture and exterior are "retro," but if you aren't too persnickety and simply want a comfortable and clean place to crash, this is the place for you.

The breakfast was fair but offered no eggs or meat, per se, not many protein choices. Otherwise, it was good. We always appreciate the service of an ice machine and need a bag upon arrival and again when we leave. It is critical to provide ice to travelers and you did. Also, we loved having a bathtub as I must have a hot bath, for therapy reasons. It was quiet; we had Room 123 and the motel was not heavily booked; we liked that so much. The front desk people were friendly and welcoming.

We forgot to sign out of our Netflix and called to ask for help doing that from the staff. The desk was not helpful in solving this problem. She said she could do nothing as Room 123 was booked for a week and did not want to disturb the residents. Told us we had to wait for two more days until the Supervisor returned. Or call back in the morning and see if the maids could sign out. We were not willing to give out our password to a maid. We waited until we got home and re set our password. I think you need a head employee in place when the Supervisor is off.

I attended a family reunion with my wife's family. The property management did an excellent job accommodating 60-plus people over three days to include use of the multipurpose conference room.

I've been to the property about ten times since 2009. I know that there is ongoing work on the flower beds and hedges. The work continues to appear half-hearted. Just hire a landscaping firm and get it done.

I loved the hot tub! The staff was very friendly. Housekeeping done a wonderful job. The room was very large. We had a king suite with hot tub. We will definitely stay here again.

Sometimes it was noisy. Sometimes housekeeping did not get to our room. We had a 6 day stay and it happened twice. Which really wasn't all that bad, but you expect to have the trash emptied. Couch was VERY uncomfortable to sit on. Chair was more comfortable.

It was a clean room. It provided a nice, quality breakfast! We were able to stay with our dog for free. We will stay here again!

As an older facility, it didn’t have an elevator. Our older dog did okay on the stairs. The key card lock on our door was broken. We were in room # 200. We were given 2 different sets of key cards and neither worked. The staff came and tried their card and it didn’t work. Maintenance staff used a master key which seemed to be the only key card that worked. DON’T stay in room # 200!

I like everything about this hotel. The price was terrific. The room was above exceptionally clean if that's possible and the little touches like peppermints and a bottle of water in the room was really an unexpected surprise. Kudos to these folks for making it a great place to stay close to the interstate. And if you're hungry the best Thai restaurant in the United States is just a short way from the hotel

Nothing. Loved everything

We were traveling for two weeks and stayed at four hotels. This hotel is amazing and definitely the best of the 4. Friendly staff, super clean, pet area perfect, excellent breakfast, did I mention clean. Thankful to find them on Booking.

There honestly wasn't one bad thing. We both said, "Too bad every hotel we stayed at, wasn't that perfect."

Newly remodeled inn. Clean, modern updates, clean bathroom and shower, no mold or crud. Nice new towels, clean comfortable bed, refrigerator and microwave. Nice outdoor pool with clear water and no strong chlorine smell. Vinyl woodplank flooring throughout, don’t have to worry about dirty carpet. Staff very pleasant. We will definitely use again!

The breakfast was on the simple side but for the price of the room we didn’t expect much more. Clean eating area. Staff very anxious to please.

Clean comfortable rooms, No carpeting so clean and no funny smells. Fridge, safe , coffee pot. Beautiful courtyard and large outdoor pool area. Well thought breakfast with a nice variety of wrapped breakfast items, fruit and waffles. Nice touches like flowers on tables. Friendly staff.

Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, all the room amenities needed. Excellent breakfast variety, great room price, easy to find from the interstate. Also, went out walking early in the morning for exercise and found a great farm lane across the highway with beautiful views of fields and forest. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
