We LOVED the hot breakfast! We loved that the room was really clean and staff were very polite and helpful. Usually I have trouble sleeping away from home but the room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We will be back!
Shower would not turn on. Also, one of the desk managers rented our room to another person, so he walked right into our room the first day we there there..............awkward. One of the desk managers did not check often on the food and drinks in the breakfast cafe, and we had to go request more. Sausage was all gone, coffee was out, etc.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 different times. It is the perfect midway overnight spot for when I travel to the East to visit family. There is a good hot breakfast in the morning with a decent assortment of items to choose from. The staff has been very friendly and helpful each of my stays. There are plenty of restaurants close by for lunch or dinner. The shower had plenty of hot water and the beds are comfortable.
The fitness room leaves a bit to be desired so I have never used it.

Booked last minute. Chose them due to price and location. Close to restaurants. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Hot breakfast options of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage filled us up. I even appreciated their juice selection and the filter drinking water as well. Make your own waffles were also an option as well as yogurt and standard breads and muffins.
Nothing really. Was a good value.

The A/C unit in my room was LOUD, and when I mentioned it to the gentleman behind the counter, he immediately found a vacant room for me to stay. Although it was technically an upgrade, I was not charged any extra costs. The room itself was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I didn't experience any noise from other guests at all. The breakfast was more than plenty (the biscuits & gravy were delicious!). I stayed 3 nights altogether, and if I ever need to spend time in Terre Haute again, I'll gladly sleep here again. I can't imagine any of the other hotels in the area can justify their prices (more than double) for a clean, quiet sleep vs the price paid here. It's not the Marriott, but neither is the bill!
My only complaint really was the smell in the elevator and the fact that the mini fridge didn't have a freezer (for my ice-pack). However, there are ice machines available if needed. I did notice an unpleasant scent on the floor as well, however I can say with confidence that it was due to some of the guests...

The beds were super comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. We were surprised! Clean as well compared to how it might look out in the hallways
The rooms were updated but there is a need of renovations like the ceilings and the doors. I wasn’t comfortable knowing the doors barely locked but that’s the only issue i had really. Power went down which sucked for us charging our electronics and had to open the room window since AC shut off.

I was hesitant at first to book the room because of unfavorable reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was good, well stocked, clean and the staff was friendly and available for questions and help. It had a nice variety of both hot and cold items. All staff was nice and friendly. The room was a nice size and it was clean. Beds were comfortable.

Clean. Great breakfast: scrambled eggs, biscuits & sausage gravy, sausage patties, bananas, individually wrapped apples, yogurt, pancakes, assorted bread and muffins, hot tea, coffee, 4 different kinds of juice. Very nice. Was left out until 9:00 as advertised, as well.
The huge hole in the wall behind (but not caused by) the door. The crazy prices a two star motel can charge.

Our first stay in a Sleep Inn was impressive enough for us to stay in one again. The room was large and clean and the check-in staff friendly.
I don't like having to agree to an upfront charge of $150 for damages, which I didn't see when booking the room while en route. Even if it's in the "fine print," it should be noted in the "Details" when booking as it would have been a "deal breaker" for me. We've stayed in dozens of hotels during a 4-week road trip from the Northeast to Utah and back, and we've only had to agree to a $25 fee for "incidentals," and that was only twice. The ingress to the hotel needs improvement, too. There is no sign for the hotel at the turn into the driveway that is shared with several other businesses.

A good hotel, located right next to the highway. Recently renovated, outside and in the rooms, the corridors and elevators seem not to have been done. Everything is great in the rooms. The beds are comfortable, the linen is clean and fresh. Breakfast is as usual American, very poor, but you will not die of hunger. Overall, a great option for one night.

The breakfast was good but I would've liked better forks, spoons, and knives. There was plenty of offerings and the empty trays were replaced quickly. The tables were cleaned as people left them so good, all in all.
The tableware. It was very cheap and flimsy. I understand that you don't want to have to wash dishes and flatware, but I would've liked them to be a little sturdier.
