For the price, this was an exceptional property. SUPER CLEAN, accommodating, the restaurant on site was excellent, and ALL of the staff was phenomenal! The owner made you feel like you were at home and very friendly. If you're looking for an inexpensive, CLEAN, safe, accommodating, friendly place that offers all the basic amenities, this is it. The property across the street wanted $100 more a night and the only thing additional you got was breakfast. I would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone stopping through. For what we got for the price, there isn't anything we didn't like. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.

I was travelling cross-country with two cats. It can be difficult to find motels that will take pets, and I'm used to being charged fees or putting up with mediocre accommodations. Neither of those things happened here. I asked the staff at the desk for a room on the ground floor with parking near the door, so that I could easily transfer the cats from the car, and was given the perfect room with a door a couple of yards from the parking lot. The next morning, when I was packing to leave, one of the cats got out and managed to wedge himself behind one of the industrial washing machines. Again, the staff were very helpful and supportive, and left me alone in the washroom to retrieve him. The room itself was clean and comfortable, exactly what I expect from Motel 6, but the staff made this the best Motel 6 ever.

We received a wonderful welcome by Tina! Travelling with a basset hound, it was great to meet a dog person. She is the best! The hotel is not the Hilton, but it is a very good option for travelers on I80. The room was comfortable and clean. It was hot outside, so a quiet air conditioning system was welcome! We got a quick look at the nearby town, Avoca. It looks real nice.

The hotel could spruce up the landscaping a bit. It would have been nice to walk Wyatt on some grass, but the reader should not be discouraged from staying with Tina at the Motel 6 in Avoca.

Staff was VERY friendly, helpful & pleasant. Dog friendly hotel is a blessing! "Finnegan" (the cute, sweet Westie) is a delight!! Loved him!!

Bad timing for our arrival that some people were setting off fireworks right next to hotel parking lot. Scared our dog & made her more anxious, but it all worked out fine b/c it didn't last long.

Staff was great. Place was pretty clean. Best of all, a storm came through with very high winds and the building was solid. I was grateful for that.

Not much really...they have smoking on some of the first floor, but I stayed on the top floor and was not bothered by it.

There was no breakfast offered - only coffee. The bed was especially comfortable and the room had been recently refurbished!

The clerk was grumpy about my reserving on line. The bathroom was clean & All new- but the moulding along the base of the tub shower unit had a couple of scrap pieces of moulding that had gaps between the joints and black strands of fur like carpeting sticking out along the edges of the moulding - quite disgusting & gave a dirty, poor quality finish work.

Where do I begin. I was there for a friends wedding. My group of friends and I were not the best tenants but the staff was so nice, understanding, and most of all, friendly and fun. They all work very hard and act more like a friend than people providing you a service. Great people running a great location. I was skeptical due to the fact that its a motel 6 and the chain is not very well regarded, but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Great place to have an extended stay.

Mostly just nit picking here but i wish there was a pool and refrigerators in the rooms. My stay was great even without these things.

Decent place to spend a night on a road trip. Don't expect much from Motel 6 in the middle of nowhere, and you'll be fine. Hot shower, clean sheets and towels.

Strong cleaning solution smell in the room

very clean and staff was very friendly. we only stayed one night passing through but it was a nice room and they accommodated my husband who has an artificial leg by getting us an easy access room.

Beds made noise when you moved. mattress or frame, not sure. shore those up and beds would be fine.

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for, clean, close to the interstate and a perfect place to get out of the car and get some sleep before continuing our journey.

If you are looking for a place with a lot of amenities this isn't the place for you. It's a clean, quiet place to get some sleep while on your travels.
