The hotel is located in a good position close to many restaurants and bars. The staff were helpful and friendly and one of the staff gave us a little bit of the history of Cedar Rapids which was very interesting. The room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed a drink in the hotel bar which is lovely and had views over the city. The breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed a tasty omelette which was made to order. Parking was easily available with a car park being located across the road which was reasonably priced. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

The hotel itself was very nice but I thought the staff was just outstanding I think that's what makes the place but in my eyes the staff is what makes your stay it's not the hotel.

I understood that they were really busy I wanted a late check out but they couldn't accommodate us they explained why but I get it at the same time an extra hour or two but it. Would of helped us out immensely but policy is policy.

the hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great for our event.

the air conditioner was very loud. Made it very hard to sleep. There was very little lighting and the lightswitch for the bathroom was behind the door on the outside of the bathroom.

The staff were friendly and the check-in/check-out process was easy via text. We were given a choice of a low or high floor. The views were great!

Some booking.com options have breakfast included and some were pay at property. It wasn’t clear so make sure you know what you are selecting. I thought breakfast was included, but that was only for some rooms.

I have stayed here many times over the years and the downtown location is great, nice rooms, fun bar and good restaurant for breakfast. Warm cookies and bottled water on arrival.

Check in was slow and new staff person had some hiccups.......still waiting to see if they finally got the charge on my card corrected.

The location is very convenient when attending events at Alliant Energy Powerhouse. Our room was very nice.

The bed was pretty hard and we found 4 dirty plastic spoons under the mattress:/

The breakfast (3/24/2022) staff was attentive and sweet. The food was fast and tasty. The T.V. after my Convention (Jordan Peterson) did not work (but, I don't watch it anyway). The Wifi was fine for the cell, but the LapTop could not connect. The Staff that was roaming (shuttle service and general happenstance were 100% excellent). Give them a raise and keep them!! I had an issue at the main Desk and the gals took care of it., but not until some sweet-talking. Does this mean I won't stay at Hilton? No. There are regional issues, sometimes a little sugar works better than indifference.

A smidge more courtesy at the main desk would be appropriate. Though it worked out fine, when I have eMails, PdF, and receipts that match, please do not call into question my honor. My hubby has the highest Hilton Honor's, (not the same name) we have never stayed anywhere else. Also, I reiterated I am handicapped (not terribly,) but distances matter - and weather. My driver said he was available for the multitude of patrons attending this event. He was one (1) of two (2) drivers. I walked the short distance, but it hurt. Overall? After the distance and a good soak, I was fine.

The room refrigerator was located next to one of the beds and its low hum interrupted sleep until I disconnected it from the wall socket. A better location please. I did reconnect it in the morning.

Friendly staff, great room, so close to where we were going and a few spots downtown. Quick check in and they give you a warm cookie which was a nice touch!

Communication. We paid extra for breakfast. Was told at the hotel we did not have that option so we never used it. We are trying to get that money back but continue to get the runaround from both the hotel and Booking.com.
