Staff was friendly and welcoming. While the facilities were not exactly luxurious (older, bit of wear and tear), they were clean, well decorated, and comfortable, and they accepted our pets for a modest fee. Also, the overall price was outstanding, and I liked the residential location. We will be staying again. At first, I thought the beds were too soft, but I woke with NO back pain!

The pillows in the beds were too soft to be supportive and the toilets were very low to the ground.

Such a cute roadside motel. has a lot of charm and character. the beds are SUPER soft and I loved it. the manager was kind enough to adjust the temperature to my liking from the office. he also let me in my room when I was locked out in the middle of the night. For the price this was a wonderful stay.

There wasn’t much to “not like”. maybe that it is further away from the highway, however to some that could be a selling point.

The friendly owner manager has started his American dream in middle America and is renovating one step at a time. My room was tastefully painted and decorated, the bathroom fixtures dated but worked. The bed very comfortable. Located in a quiet, safe area far from an interstate, I got a good nights sleep.

Service was great, newly updated, beds and pillows were very comfortable and room was very large compared to most hotels on our trip. Make sure to dine at M &R Grill!!! It was amazing!

The owner was very friendly, even when I arrived after 11 in the evening for my check-in. The hotel was quaint, comfortable, easy to access, and affordable. It had a refrigerator and microwave in the room, as well as a coffee maker and a hair dryer. The bed was super comfortable and there were a variety of pillows.

The building is obviously older. The owner mentioned that he has been updating it since he purchased it. You can tell that things have been done, but it still feels old and slightly run down. More work will definitely help to make it look and feel cleaner. There was an ice bucket in the room, but I was unable to find an ice machine anywhere on the property.

A clean room, comfortable bed, excellent parking, very good wifi, great location near downtown. For the price, this is a great value.

It was clean and modernly decorated. The manager was very friendly. They spaced the guests for privacy and comfort.

The TV volume was set to a limit and I had trouble hearing the shows I watched.

The place is older but the owner is updating it. Carpet and bath still original. Bed and furniture newer. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean.

The carpet is frayed at the doorways. Booking.com did not show the correct vacancies. The owner had to give us a different room at a higher price.
