There are a lot of positive things to say about this property. The complimentary breakfast is outstanding, which includes sausage, eggs, potatoes, waffles, bagels, juice and coffee, etc. It is sufficiently staffed such that all the items are always stocked. The room was comfortable and clean. I highly recommend the restaurant on site, The Wood Fired Grill. We had the Wednesday special, the porter house steak. On another occasion, we had the tomahawk steak. Both were quality beef, cooked to perfection. We had our small dog with us. This hotel has a great pet area in the back of the hotel with doors for easy access. This hotel is conveniently located to reach places of interest in Wichita.

The hotel generally and the room air conditioning are slightly musty smelling which was not something I noticed the last time I stayed here in January 2022. Wish the room had more uniform lighting throughout.

Well it could change up more or at least different to choose. As long ive been coming up there to stay its always the same things . One time we was there I think we got to eat sausage& gravy with biscuit . But I might thinking on the other side of Kansas where I also stay . But I only get to stay . Check in on Sunday Check out on Wednesday

Potatoes are never really done . Never scramble eggs or bacon . The eggs ya'll do serve some time under cook or over cooked.

The hotel was very convenient for an overnight stop on I-35 on a long trip. The room was clean and quiet, the AC worked well, the bathroom was spotless and had a good shower, the bed and pillows were comfortable and had nice quality bedding, and the decor was pleasant. We relaxed in the hot tub and pool. The breakfast attendant was very helpful and nice. The free breakfast had a variety of foods, and the waffles were especially good. We aren't gamblers and didn't even go into the casino, so we were pleased that there was no noise or smoke from the casino in the hotel lobby, even though there was an entrance straight into the casino.

It was crazy, but two of the drawers (one in the nightstand and one in the dresser) wouldn't stay shut - they'd slowly come open part way. We put a pillow on the floor to hold the drawer closed on the nightstand! Not a big deal, but that was a "first". We forgot to mention it to the staff when checking out in the morning, but hopefully they'll see this and fix the drawer issues! The hot tub wasn't really hot enough.

The room was excellent until we wanted to use the fridge. It wasn't working-at all! Im Diabetic & my insulin needs to be cold so the staff put it in THEIR fridge until our fridge was fixed. All the staff were amazing & helpful-not just then but the entire time! Thank you greatly!

We liked everything! Will definitely come again!

Like staying there when we have occasionally gone to Kansas Star Casino. Convenient, clean and quiet.

Only thing I don't is when people bring their pets into the breakfast area. Service Animals are fine and we love all animals, but feel there are some places that should be more restrictive. (We left our cat at home this trip, and even when we do travel with her and carrier would leave her in room)

Unfortunately, through booking.com, I reserved a smoking room. And that probably happened because of an event leaving only 2 rooms available. The staff were very, very, very understanding. And although there were no other rooms available, they provided me with a can of Febreeze.

We discovered the waffle maker after making our breakfast. Looking forward to that next time!

We were attending a concert at the Kansas star casino and this was on property. Our room was clean and we even were able to check in almost an hour early due to room availability. The AC worked excellently and the staff at the desk were all so friendly.

The hallways and common areas as well as the elevators were very hot and not at a comfortable temp.

The gentleman that checked me in on Aug 31 around 7pm was very nice and professional. There were many people in line behind me and the phone was ringing - he remained very calm and professional to everyone.

Everything was connected and we did not have to drive from place to place. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Our shower did not have hot water or good water pressure. I asked others in our group and they had similar issues.

The place was cool. The decor was awesome. Very nice staff that really helped us out.

just didn't like the smoke smell from casino but know that's common for KS.
