The diner was fun. Neat to find a period diner in this remote little town that used to be a major east-west town for road travelers to stop for food and lodging prior to it being bypassed by the interstate highway system.
The lighting in the parking lot is almost non-existent. It the parking lot was well lit this would have been a perfect stay.

Clean room . Comfy bed , mattress looked new. Nice heavy towels .
Problem with check in. Said denied but our bank and paypal confirmed. Had to go to restaurant next door to check in . Walls thin . Could hear next room snoring. No ice machine.

The room was clean and spacious. But they used the COVID concern as an excuse for no bedspread/comforter. That made it look like someone forgot to finish their job.
They need a larger sign at the driveway/sidewalk telling you to register at the diner next door. There's no lobby. I was on crutches and had to walk to the entry door before seeing the sign and had to walk even more. Really inconvenient.
