Extremely clean. Beds were comfortable. Easy to control the room temperature too. Receptionist always smiled and had a friendly greeting. They were extremely flexible in allowing us to check in a couple hours early so we could get ready for a wedding after a 4 hour drive. I called ahead the day before and they were very accommodating. Microwave in the room was helpful to heat up some leftovers from dinner the night before. Gazebos outside would have been wonderful to be able to use but it rained that night so we took some pictures be for we left in the morning.

Considering the exceptional room price, if you’re expecting a full restaurant style breakfast you will be disappointed. However, they had a nice selection of breakfast items including fruit and coffee with different flavor creamer.

Did not partake in breakfast.

TV had a short in the cable line that we had to play with to get it to work. Difficult to get water temp to regulate in shower. When first entering the room it smelled of cigarette smoke and found dirty wash cloths hanging on the shower rod that housekeeping did not remove. As for the smell I think it was what they spayed in the room, went to front desk because I did not want to be charged for smoking when I don't smoke and he stated that he did not smell anything.

Old/vintage, thick dust on ceiling fan blades, thin towels. Breakfast offering only carbs. Quality seems to have gone down since new owners

I really love this little roadside hotel/motel, exceptionally clean and the little artwork paintings in the rooms are so cute, it's kind of a retro hotel, it's on a very busy street, but close to all the restaurants and the college

There is really nothing I don't like about this cozy little hotel, if I had to say something I might just say the bathroom is kind of small and there isn't a closet, but other then that which isn't a big deal

Quirky little place, comfy bed, good water pressure. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was really easy to find, and convenient to most amenities in town.

It was dated, for sure. It was also a little weird that the bed linens were colors, and the artwork was religious themed. It wasn't terrible, though, just not the norm.

Had the feeling of the old motor lodges we stayed at before the big hotels lined the interstates, but with breakfast, convenient parking, Wi-Fi, and exceptionally clean. Price very reasonable. Will stay again.

I did not like the mattress. Some might like a very hard mattress, but it was a bit uncomfortable for me.

It’s a really cool, retro motel that has been completely restored, modernized, and beautifully done. I love the original art in all the rooms and facilities, but the artist no longer is around, so it’s not for sale.

The only thing anyone could complain about would be the size of the shower, but I’m 6’1” and I found it fine.

The lady - I believe she was the owner and also the artist - was very friendly checking in. Also, the man checking out was extremely nice. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable.

The inn was advertised as an art gallery - there was none in our room. 3 frames where it should be, but all were empty. This made the room very bland. Although the bed was comfortable - I would have preferred the option of using a light blanket - the heavy comforter was too hot.

The grounds were beautiful and well-kept. The woman who was owner was an oil paint Artist whose works and those of other local artists were on display in the lobby and breakfast room and were for sale. I enjoyed talking with her and enjoying her sweet positive demeanor. The beds were very comfortable and there were four pillows, two of which were king size and served as body pillows. The rooms were extremely clean. If you like more of a suite-type room as in hotel chains, just want to let you know this is not like that. It had a small table and two table chairs and you had to lie in bed and look off to the right to see the TV, but we were not there to watch TV. The Continental breakfast Was excellent and included good fresh fruit, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, breads muffins and brioche, oats and cereal, juices, teas,and coffee. The value was excellent, with it being just over half what the cost would have been at the Hampton Inn. If old vintage style motels are not your thing, then you would be happier in a chain hotel. We liked it here.

The only negative to me was the wall air conditioner that was extremely loud. It was set in the wall high enough that the air did not blow directly on you in bed, so that was good. The functioning of the air conditioner kept it cool but it seemed damp.

That it was clean, friendly staff and good location and good price. I like that the mattress and box spring was encased.

I usually don’t like the carpet in the rooms because of cleanliness and bugs but this seemed clean. Dark carpet which also can’t tell if really clean but I think it was ok.
