Well, whatever we asked for was pretty much provided in a reasonable time. With the pandemic causing staffing shortage, we understood that we would not have cleaning services. However, that did not matter, we like to clean our own room. We just asked for towels, trash liners, box of tissue and toilet tissues as we needed them. The location is very central to everything.

Elevator was slow and not enough handicap stalls in parking.

This was a last minute booking due to total and long-term power and water outage at home as a result of a powerful storm. In addition, the state of MD was declared as under a state of emergency due to COVID. I was both very anxious about traveling on treacherous roads to a public hotel. The hotel check-in was friendly and clearly explained the cleaning/sanitizing procedures. The room seemed to have been well-cleaned, even though I did my own cleaning. There were several typical hotel room amenities missing but I thought that was smart. Staff very flexible: Front desk provided me toothbrush/toothpaste b/c I had hastily packed. Housekeeping flexible by leaving towels at door rather than coming in room. Most importantly, hotel was flexible in allowing me a later decision hour as to whether I was going to need to stay another night. This was very important to me because the power company kept sending several contradictory updates as to power restoration. I felt safe and well-treated.

Starbucks was nice in the hotel lobby but a bit expensive

The frig in the room was very tiny. If you are vacationing in the area and trying local meals you need a bigger frig for left overs.

lighting out at street and entrance was poor and dangerous and very poorly marked, no comfortable chair in room to sit in

The newly remodeled room was gorgeous. I loved the walking shower with glass doors. The pumps in shower are a great idea. Beds are comfy. Room is huge.The bistro in the lobby has good food at reasonable prices for a quick dinner. There is not a breakfast unless bought at the bistro.

There is no microwave. There are no USB ports. The cost of 2 bottles of pureleaf tea in the lobby was almost $9.50. I would look at a near type of coffee pot like kcup not pods. Also, check into adding USB ports for charging devices.

the hamburgers were horrible also booked because they had a pool and hot tub, I have a disability and it’s important for my comfort, the pool and hot tub have been closed for 2+ years.

clean, safe, comfortable room

There were no grab bars next to the toilet. I am handicapped and had a very difficult time getting off the toilet because it was low. All bathrooms with showers should have grab bars on the wall near the toilet.

Location was good. It was very quiet. The bed was amazing; so comfortable! I didn't want to get out of bed in the mornings.

Nice hotel as I would expect nothing less from Mariott and conveniently located for our needs. If I had known breakfast was not included at this location, I may have picked one of the other hotels nearby. Booking.com had a nice cancellation policy that was not available if you booked directly with the hotel.. Seems a little strange but I will certainly book more with Booking.com now.

Expected a little better view from our room (wrongly assumed our room would have a view like the pictures shown) but overall that is of little consequence since we didn't really do much more than sleep in the room.

Even though the hotel was under construction, the rooms were completed. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I wish we were informed of the hotel being under construction prior to booking the room.
