i liked how quiet it was in the building and that the staff was willing to turn off the artificial fragrances being pumped through the air vents and not spray our room with toxic perfumes. the room and hallways were very clean, the furniture was comfortable and the staff were kind.

there shouldn't be any artificial fragrances being pumped through the air vents and nor should there be any sprays in the rooms using toxic perfumes, the fact that we had to call in advance and then ask again at the desk and be worried about an allergic reaction was a hassle. also, the rooms on one side of the hotel are quieter because there is a major road and traffic noise on the other side.

The location was excellent and it met my needs and it was very convenient to all the destinations I needed to be. The added bonus of having a Bistro at the Courtyard was also extremely convenient. The menu was very suitable and great hours of operation.

Considering I was staying for 7 days, it would have been preferable to have had a larger room. Pillows were not very comfortable.

Room size, location

One encounter put a damper on the stay! Customer service at the bar area where the on staff attendent (DeJuan) on Thursday 18th May, was Very much out of character with good customer service that would make you not want to return! We are seasoned world travelers and unstand hotel policy, however the way it presented and Administer was VERY degrading! I am 75yrs of age and to be made to go back to my room to get I D so I could be carded, is a bit strange! On top of that after returning with I D, to wait another 45 mins while others were being served, with no acknowledgment was just not acceptable!

Location

The toilet got clogged and they dropped a plunger with us to unclog it ourselves. Eventually we couldn't (we aren't plumbers). We then asked a housekeeper we ran into on our way to get help downstairs, as the front desk line was busy. The good news is that the housekeeping staff unclogged it. He then exited leaving us to cleanup😞

I liked the tv viewing options, the refrigerator, the microwave, friendly staff

I didn't like housekeeping walking in abruptly instead of waiting for someone to open the door. I also didn't like how soft the beds were.

I travel a lot and I always give thorough reviews of the places I stay. This hotel was outstanding. Clean and tastefully decorated. The rooms were thoughtfully well appointed. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. One of my pet peeves is low water pressure in showers.....not here! It was the best hotel shower I have had in probably 5 years. There were plenty of electrical outlets and charging stations. I would highly recommend this property. I felt totally safe at all times.

They have a small snack bar style bistro where you can buy food....no traditional restaurant. Unfortunately, the salad I ordered was unbelievably over priced and not very good to boot. A container of Arugula, Quinoa, Chicken chunks, and some dressing plus a drink set me back $24.00. Skip the food bar. A Starbucks is right down the road as well as other eateries.

With an easy 20 minute drive from downtown Silver Springs, I saved a lot of money. Free parking was key. The hotel had been renovated and the gym was excellent and state of the art.

Room was comfortable, I enjoyed looking out onto the courtyard. Like having balcony. Liked the coffee shop with the ability to get breakfast items.

I changed rooms to not be on the first floor - was concerned about security of room with a sliding glass door from the courtyard.

Front desk staff

Overcharged me a lot. Put a huge hold on my debit card which prevented me from staying somewhere else the following week. Need an investigation of charges.

Very friendly staff. The room was clean, comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower.

I wish there were a few more channels to choose from such as Bravo and Hallmark but that's just my preference. Also, no microwave or hair dryer but other than that, it is a great value.
