new and spacious and spotless. the staff were well trained friendly and eager to help. the beds were luxurious. the new BMW curtesy cars were immaculate and a classy touch

the free continental pastries were cheap commercial and tasteless. the nice of a hotel should feature local made foods.

The location was excellent- an easy walk to downtown, with abundant shops and restaurants. The staff was one of the best I've ever encountered: friendly, helpful, and upbeat. The heated pool was a plus! Although we did not take advantage of it, they will drop off and pick up guests at any location within a mile radius. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. There are two BMW EVs available to drive (by lottery) at 9 AM and 4 PM. We were lucky enough to win one of the slots so we could drive around the island. This was a nice touch!

It would have been nice to have one additional chair in the room (even a small one). Although they offer rides to/from the ferry, there wasn't a shuttle to or from the airport. I believe we could have used the town shuttle, but weren't provided with any information ahead of time, so we weren't aware of that option. I would have liked to see a courtesy shuttle to and from the airport (even if it stopped at other hotels). We are early risers - it would be nice if coffee/pastries had been provided starting at 7 AM (instead of 8).

Staff and property itself and location were fantastic … bikes, etc. Just had two issues with our individual room (suite) that wasn’t.

We stayed in a room (suite) in the main building that is by the side road. It was abutting a utility room / area that had a constant high pitched noise that was so uncomfortable we had to close doors to avoid hearing it. We should have asked to move in hindsight (the room was not cheap!!!) AND the shower leaked all over the floor every single time, to the point of saturating an entire towel (dripping!). I did mention it to the front desk upon checkout so they would know - they didn’t volunteer a discount ; )

The location was wonderful as were the details of service. The raffle for the BMW X7 was terrific. We won four hours and drove everywhere. The rooms were a real surprise. It feels more like a home than a hotel. The half bath along with a full bath was great for my wife to get ready.

Before May 24th, lots of stores are closed. Go the first week of May.

The hotel is absolutely stunning, with fantastic facilities and amenities. The staff are absolutely incredible, and everyone was so helpful. Specifically, Devan at the front desk helped us out a lot.

Only thing is some of the pre-arranged items did not happen. However, the staff made every effort to make up for it.

The White Elephant is an elegant, charming, sprawling hospitality center very near the heart of Nantucket. It oozes style and is ideal for those seeking luxury and comfort. The Brant Point Grill is an asset to the overall property.

There is a variety of rooms, cottages, etc and I would have appreciated learning more about the options before booking. No a big deal but certainly worth noting for future stays. The gym is inadequate. Otherwise, not much to complain about... White Elephant is a marvelous destination.

The resort is beautiful. I love the location, closed to the town but not much. You can walk to excellent beaches too.

There are many families with kids and there is no no-kid spaces. I think there should be two different pools and places to be more peacefully.

We absolutely loved the hotel. The room was spacious and decorated beautifully. The staff were all so friendly and helpful! We stayed at the Residences and loved being able to walk to town, to the Brandt Point Bar and beaches. We also loved having access to the bikes

Friendly staff. Good shuttle service, except one time the front desk told me to catch the shuttle to the sister hotel at the visitor center in town, but the shuttle driver informed me he picks up from White Elephant as well.

The public lounge/library is too small. During our 4-night stay, there was 1 woman who occupied the table every day to do her work and make phone calls. It was disruptive to other guests who wish to use the lounge. That was a major disappointment.

we stayed at the 2bedroom NOBADEER residence. Unbelievable space for 2 couples or for an entire family . we could walk to dinner, or coffee, or the beach or the wine store. Comfortable rooms, plenty of closets, and the best towels. Fabulous coffee in the morning!

plenty of water in a can, wish we got water bottles we could fill each day. also need beach chairs/towels that are light enough to carry to the beach!
