The staff was very friendly and very down to earth and informative. The location was good ,close to amenities. The pricing was very approximate and very clean . The bed wasn't too hard or too soft. Just right😊for me ,anyways.

Well...the only thing was it's close to the busy road in and out of town. Not a terrible thing but if you're a night hawk and want to sleep in...people are going to work early and that includes alot of logging trucks going by. Didnt bother me much but it could for others. Thats it. Things were great.

Our family of 6 was traveling through the UP to visit friends in Wisconsin and wanted to stay the night in Escanaba to break up the long road trip. Most motels were forcing us into two rooms or into an expensive suite, so we were thrilled to find an affordable option for 6 people. The room was extremely clean and the beds were firm, but comfortable. The updates they've done to the motel were cute and we appreciated the ability to stay in one room together.

There wasn't a fan in the bathroom, so the small room fogged up quickly. I worry that they will have mold growing on the walls and other areas soon if they do not properly vent the moisture from the bathroom.

The hotel was reasonably priced for a small and very clean and comfortable room. The bathroom was well sized. It was a cozy spot and a parking spot in front of our room was available for free. The check in process was easy, and they called the day before to confirm that we would be there and shared the check in time (3-8pm) but said that if we had to check in later that they would give us a different check in process.

The room was a little small, but it still had space for a table with two chairs, a mini fridge and microwave, and a spacious bathroom. There was also a small tv on the wall.

The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean, the location is great. Close to everything you would want in town with a restaurant in the same parking area. I didn't eat there but I heard it was good and you got a discount for staying at the hotel.

The room I stayed in was kind of small. There is no space to put your bathroom stuff on, like a vanity or shelves. The air conditioner is a separate unit in the bathroom and didn't cool down the room. It was a mild day for Aug otherwise I think it could have gotten pretty warm in the room. The room had a fridge and microwave along with a small table and 2 chairs. It's great for one night and the price is a good value compared to other prices for hotels. I would stay again for a one night visit.

This is a charming old roadside hotel on the edge of Escanaba, Michigan. It looks nice on the outside, and the interior of room 6 was modern, comfortable, and clean. I liked parking right outside my room and that "The Family" restaurant next door was a very easy walk. The bed was okay, the bathroom very nice, and to my happy surprise no road noise penetrated to disturb my rest. The food at the restaurant was good old American and great for dinner and breakfast. The desk staff were friendly and very helpful when I was challenged by the touch screen door lock, and the restaurant staff were friendly and kindly thoughtful when a pouring rain caused me to hang out with them until it lessened a little.

Compared to many of the surroundings hotels and/or motels, this one was one of the most affordable while having good reviews, and those reviews were very accurate. It was more modern than most motels, felt more comfortable, and had nice functioning amenities like keycode door locks, updated shower/bathroom, and modern ac/heating unit.

We were happy with everything! Our room did feel a bit humid, but it's a motel still, I think you can only really expect so much. We were comfy, and wouldn't give it a second thought considering all the rainy weather we'd been having.

We were looking for a place we could all squeeze in, 5 adults passing through. We needed excellent but inexpensive, and this fit the bill! Also awesome that we could refrigerate and then microwave our mini egg casseroles in the morning in our room before our early departure.

One 23 year old son said his back hurt in the morning from the bed, or perhaps not rolling over., check the support of mattress perhaps? To top it off if one full bed could be swapped for a queen or two twins, that would have made it even better so my sons wouldn’t have to sleep in the same bed or lay so still. That is just a “what could be better” situation, we were very thankful as it was!

Clean room, newer decor. Shower was newly tiled. The floor is newer LVP.

Heavy traffic noise can be heard due to the location on a main highway. There were no comfortable chairs, only wooden kitchen chairs. There isn't enough parking space, seems like there are more rooms than places for cars to park. Way too much redundant communication from management in the form of emails and text messages. We received 6 messages in 1 day about check in times, policies, and terms and conditions of the stay. And more messages after checkout.

Reasonable price. Very clean. Check in went great.

Checked in about 1/2 hour before check in closed. Very happy with the room. Was a 40 night outside so wanted to turn up the heat in our room. It showed 64 degrees and was in off position. Turned it on and set for 68 degrees. Went to bed shortly there after. It never turned on. Got up at 5 AM and again tried to warm it up by turning it off and back on this time to 69 degrees. Never heated up. Didn’t shower in the morning as our room was now 62 degrees. Told them at checkout they we’re going to send in Maintenance. The previous few days were very warm. It’s possible that that room hadn’t needed heat all summer.

Great location for our overnight stop on our trip to Wisconsin. Very dog friendly. The room set up with the three beds worked perfectly for our family. The Family diner next door was convenient and excellent food.

The bathroom was a bit tight. And even with the great sound proofing the truck traffic was loud.
