Perfect spot, you are within 10 min from everything. Great view of the bridge. You are in the middle of the city but also you are secluded

Not much here to dislike maybe the atv store across the street was a little loud at times but it didn't bother me at all plus if you keep the windows shut it almost blocked all the sound

There was nothing outstanding regarding this facility. It's location on the water with water view rooms were nice. If we had a boat, it would certainly be convenient to dock on their Portage Lake dock.

The breakfast was a standard chain motel breakfast with coffee, juice, fruit, a waffle maker, cold cereals, and instant oatmeal. The staff said they normally serve warm scrambled eggs but didn't have any. It was a busy weekend with students returning to the local university, so it seems they would have planned to have an adequate supply and not run out. However, they did have pre-packaged egg sandwiches available.

Rooms were very nice, clean and quiet. Hotel is centrally located to many of the area restaurants and activities. Had a good breakfast with several options. The pool and sauna were very relaxing after a long day.

The entrance and exit to the property take some getting used to. The drives can be a little precarious in the winter. The Bar and lounge were closed when we stayed and we weren't notified ahead of time.

Not much to look at from the outside, but I was very surprised by the remodeled room. Very clean, wonderful breakfast choices. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Thank you, Nina. You made our stay enjoyable. The location is very pretty. Right on the Portage Canal.

I had a quiet stay with a view of the water. It was nice to be able to keep the screened window open at night and not be bothered by noises. The morning continental breakfast was well stocked and managed by a nice person.

The location is a bit difficult to get to. Once you knew how, it was not an issue. No restaurant or lounge. Places nearby are closed on Tuesdays. This meant driving to a place or taking a long walk up hill.

Great, friendly & helpful staff. The rooms were spotless as was the entire property. Perfect location. Steps from Poorvoo Park where they have live music every Friday & also steps from taking a really cool historic boat tour…Copper Country Boat Tours.

Great staff; spacious room; easy access to room from parking lot; on the canal and easy access to walking/bike/ orv trail: good free breakfast; near highway to Houghton/keweenaw peninsula.

difficult to figure out how to reach the hotel off the highway-gps had trouble guiding us in-once you figure it out it is ok-but you have to go toward lake linden off the bridge not to Hancock.

The beds are comfortable

The showerheads are about neck. Hi, it was very awkward to take a shower, at 12:20 AM, after driving 10 hours, It took almost 15 minutes to check in. The check-in person kept rambling on about a list of restaurants and I just wanted to go to sleep.

The staff was extremely kind and very well respected. The rooms were exceptional and extremely comfortable.

No outdoor furniture in the back, vending machines were cash only, no onsite ATM, the Ramada Mart is suppose to be 24hrs, however the door was locked.

I stayed after a forced overnight layover by united airlines. The staff was extremely frindly. I didn't get to explore the facilities but the hotel seemed pretty clean
