The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in a safe location. There was popcorn and lemon water in the lobby area in the evening, and coffee/tea available 24 hours. It was close to a Big Boy Restaurant that had a good hot and cold buffet. There was a "Big Boy" moose outside the restaurant, dressed in red and white checked overalls, just like the Big Boy himself. Very cute! Also, the hotel was located near the Manistique Boardwalk area, which was easy to walk after a long day on the road.

Breakfast was acceptable, but was lacking variety...a little disappointing...

We were there for a memorial/burial of three members of my family, we are from South Carolina, but Manistique was always 'home'. The staff were excellent, from the check in to the maids. It took several phone calls to arrange this family get together and we had many questions/ requests and not once did the desk staff be anything but friendly, sympathetic and quick to help us. Thank you so very much for care that they provided.

Nothing, everything was of the highest quality.

Lovely staff and big, comfortable rooms. The hotel is a bit dated but perfectly clean and acceptable for the price. The location is ok for the town, which isn't up to much in reality. If you need to stop off in Manistique, then this is a good choice. If you don't and have the time to go further around the lake, my advice would be to keep travelling to the next big town in either direction.

Friendly people..great breakfast..cost was good..right location for our travels..Great 3 Season restraunt down the rode was so delicious..you got to go there! All homemade food..

Fan was so noisy in bathroom..heater fan was loud when it kicked in at night..hotels is older but it was clean and comfy had a great breakfast.at a great price..

It was unfortunate that our room 102 was beside a service/storage room first night very noisy second not as bad I think there was a sitting area above us as we heard loud talking and walking back and forth past 12:30am

Great location for exploring the Upper Peninsula, Manistique has a great small town and lakeshore feel. Good places to eat are easy to find, and this motel is nicely located. Large clean rooms, AC works well, very good breakfast bar and coffee included!

Room carpets could use a cleaning

Noisey furnace.but at least we are earm3..Restraunt up the road has the best home made foods..3 Seasons..its called.. not open in later winter

The breakfast was the one of the best of all of the hotels that we have been to in recent weeks. The 24 hour popcorn was wonderful for a nightline snack with our grandchildren while watching a bedtime program. There was a piano and my grandchildren played to get practice while guests were having breakfast. The guests seem to really enjoy the music. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Our stay was very enjoyable.

The only thing that we would have enjoyed was a pool. It worked out fine without one though.

Foods were good, clean, pleasant atmosphere.room was well appointed, comfy bed,clean, provided a toothbrush and razor.

1. A family w/small boys checked in and were roomed above us . They arrive around midnight. The adults were loud ans tne the boys were allowed to run back and forth pounding on floor, slamming doors for half an hour. I called desk and was given excuses “boys” but she finally agreed to go talk to them. They quieted a bit but I had to use my earbuds and music to quit hearing them, then couldn’t sleep well. Then, lady at front desk had me sign their pet policy even though mine was a service dog. “Yes, but you still have to sign that you read this.” So i wrote”not a pet, service animal.” Then lady in food area outtingputting food out for breakfast told me no dogs were allowed in there EVEN service dogs. I had to explain that its a federal law.

The staff were very nice and they were friendly. The facility was clean and well maintained.

We were on the bottom floor, and the people above us stomped around like elephants until late every evening.
