Booking.com upgraded us to a king suite. It was spacious, with two bedrooms including one with a king-size bed, full kitchen, living room area, and bath. The evening receptionist seemed a little put out that the site would give this suite to a party of two, but it made for a very comfortable evening for us! The hard-working receptionist and cleaning staff in the morning were very positive and friendly.

Not a complaint, just a heads up: don't depend on a full set of cutlery in the kitchen - the drawer had something like one knife and a fork or spoon. But there were four small plates and one large, several frying pans and spatulas, a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, stove, and full fridge. We had some plastic silverware along, so we were fine.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked. The pool, hot tub and sauna were great! The location to Tahquamenon Falls is very convenient. I plan on staying there whenever I go to the falls.

They have those really low toilets from the 70's in every room. Makes it hard for people with bad knees. They need to replace at least some of them with the chair high toilets. The toilets work great, they're just low. They do have some handicap accessible rooms that provide a handicap chair seat that goes over the toilet.

The beds were pretty comfy so we didn’t wake up in time for breakfast. The location was pretty central to what we wanted to do-about 30 min from the falls and 45 to an hour to pictured rocks. There aren’t very many restaurants around but we did manage to find a spot for dinner in town and there is subway and McDonald’s if you don’t feel like sitting down. Staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us fresh towels and emptied the garbage every morning.

Overall the stay was pretty quiet but we did occasionally hear a water pump ticking from someone showering in the next room and people talking coming down the hall, it wasn’t a big deal for us but something to note.

The employees were courteous, helpful, and friendly. The pool & hot tub were great and very relaxing! The hours for the pool were great 9 -10 for all, and 9-12M for adults! The rooms were very clean.. The facility, as a whole, was very well maintained! The hotel was in a perfect location for local day trips sightseeing adventures! This was a fun trip with my grandchildren, and they lived it, too! I'd stay here again in a minute and definitely tell those exploring the area what a perfect place to stay, this was!

Our room was pretty far from the pool area, but not being familiar with the layout when making me reservations, I didn't really know. I could have certainly asked ahead of time and didn't, so that was on me, not hotel staff. Nonetheless, we really didn't mind the extra steps at all as our room was on the 1st floor! I love 1st floor rooms!!!

The room was nice, clean, beds comfortable, the price was affordable. Large hot tub and pool--very clean and well kept. Continental breakfast was nice. The staff that we encountered was extremely helpful, nice and was smiling. Josiah was extremely helpful when we asked questions--especially when I asked about the patio that is being finished. All I can say is that I highly recommend staying here and we will be staying again when we come back to the UP to visit. Thank you again Josiah and staff y'all are amazing!

Door #2 did not lock anyone could walk in - There is a keycard unit but that is not functioning I mentioned it to front desk they said it does not work. Also Door #2 closer to the elevator cannot be used by ADA as there is a step on the pavement. I only mention this because they told us to enter via #2 closer to the elevator. Great little restaurant Joshua James Bar and Grill right next-door can walk over with great food and drinks and very hospitable.

Waffles cooked to order are great. Had cereal eggs toast bagels juice and coffee. No hot meat like bacon or ham or sausage but that is okay. Beds in room were nice (newer?). Large flat screen TV appreciated but DIRECT TV SUCKS.

Attention to detail is a little lacking. In our room the leak stained the drapes and the ceiling repair was not complete. Room door would not self close - you have to manually close it (also our son's room did the same thing.)

The hotel was just a 40 minute drive to our destination of Paradise for the Wild Blueberry Festival, a little closer to the Tahquamenon Falls. The room was a good size and included both a microwave and a good sized small refrigerator with freezer(not the smallest but almost double that size). Hot water and ice was plentiful in spite of a full hotel that weekend(we stayed 2 nights but had spearate reservations). Breakfast was included and had something for everyone.

Property was very accommodating towards our large dog. The pet fee was extremely reasonable. We stayed only one night, but it was comfortable since we were stuck in the room due to heavy rain. Had plenty of room for myself, my daughter and our 100# golden doodle.

Could use more variety with breakfast like scrambled eggs and bacon but the waffles were yummy.

The guest laundry room was directly across from our room. The washer and dryer was running all night for two nights in a row. Very noisy could feel the dryer heat coming in under the door. Ice machine on our floor was out of order as was other machines (ice, pop, laundry soap. Outside door was rigged so it wouldn’t close or lock.
