I actually LOVED the fact that we had 2 separate bedrooms, especially having the kids with us. The full kitchen was very convenient also !!

I didn't like the fact that the pool was in a different building and ice cold !! 🥶

Friendly and accommodating staff! Good location. Quiet. No traffic.

Angry, wall-banging guy in the room next door. Not the hotel's fault.

Close to amenities, nice space to walk dog, well lite parking area.

Everything was pretty much amazing. Really excellent value. Don’t change much.

The shower was cold. Really the only downside.

Loved the room and location. Never cared for hotel breakfasts/amenities so finding a place that didn’t uncharge for the service was nice. If you want a place that just rents rooms with no frills this is it and you get way more room for the price.

Some of the outdoor furniture was broken.

needs quite a bit of TLC. sofa in room was horribly dirty. No way would we even sit on it. Just needs some quality care.

The rooms had a great layout with the small kitchen area along with the sleeping area. The staff was very friendly.

Small updates needed but nothing that would keep me from staying here again.

I enjoyed the location and the pickup breakfast. It was nice to still have it available. The 2 suite was very spacious and comfortable. The windows opened and let in the fresh air. The water stayed extremely warm and was perfect for a relaxing bath. I needed syrup for the breakfast that I made in the room and the staff was nice enough to accommodate and grab some from the kitchen. We really had a lovely stay. Though it was wintery cold in Michigan, Sonesta made it warm felt, cozy, and comfortable in the room. We brought our firestick and were able to easily connect it to the upgraded TVs. There was a tv in each room. Great for our own space and quiet time. The desk in the room allowed me to still get work done and relax at the same time. I like that guests were spaced out and we rarely ran into others.

There was nothing we didn't like. We had to update the key fobs quite a few times. They were not working efficiently for some reason but outside of that everything else was great.

The property was clean, affordable, and the staff was so kind! All of them! We stayed here because we were getting our home bathtub repaired and due to COVID (and fumes) couldn’t be home, but we were very impressed by the cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the staff. We did lots of cooking and everything we needed was there; what’s more is how they’ve clearly made some updates to the hotel. The bathroom had new flooring and a SPOTLESS shower/tub (great shower head), the kitchen had modern appliances, and the bed was top notch. I loved the large desk and office chair too! Also - the staff bagged up breakfast for us everyday, which was a nice surprise. We weren’t even expecting breakfast options during COVID but it was nice to have a good selection of tasty snacks every morning. :)

If I had to “complain” about anything (I still gave the property a rating of 10), I’d say two things: 1. The bed pillows were preeetttty flat after basic use, though I acknowledge we are not down feather pillow people. 2. At check-in, you may want to give people a heads up that there is an additional $150 incidental fee being temporarily charged to their card. I’m familiar enough with hotels that I know incidental fees happen, but I suspect people might be less annoyed if there’s more transparency upfront.
