Grounds were beautiful. Would love to visit while more is blooming, especially the wisteria & azaleas. Breakfast was delicious & staff very friendly. We tried the on-site restaurant. Small menu but dinner was very good. Wonderful ambience.

Room was slightly disappointing. It was very comfortable but didn't have the old Southern grandeur we expected(large 4 poster, high ceiling etc.) But we didn't stay in the main house so those rooms may have those features.

Old antebellum house with lovely grounds. The interior design of the rooms is in keeping with the appearance of grand old days. It’s very romantic. The tour of the house was excellent!

Our bathroom was dated, it’s a 30 minute “walk” to town and the roads are not too safe! Taxi service is sporadic especially on Sundays !!! Some of the rooms are only accessible by some steep stairs so be careful when you book!!!

I like staying in historic properties and appreciate the commitment of those who keep them open and available. The furnishings are antique and represent an era, for which Kathleen and I were excited to experience. The shower was walk in. Thanks so much for that. The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were very enjoyable. The staff was terrific at both experiences.

So the suite was not quite the ideal for my friend and I because of mobility challenges. The shower was walk in, thankfully.

The only thing even more lovely than the property itself, with the dreamy garden, the pretty pond and the fountain, is the staff working there. Especially the cheery, funny and welcoming Ms Ivering, and the charming and hardworking concierge Hal. But everyone there, really. And I haven’t even mentioned the gorgeous room! Stay here and feel like royalty.

The breakfast was delicious but the ladies, Joan and Nichelle, were fantastic. They were so friendly and made you feel like you were family.

When we first arrived we had no ideal what to expect. We stayed in one of the cottages. There was not enough outside lights, to see how to navigate the stairs (only 2 small sections). However, they were made out of unlevel bricks and only handrails on one section. This made for unsaved walking conditions for us with our bad knees. Luckily we had a flashlight! When we finally got to the cottage door our thought was "we are not staying here" but when we opened the door our thoughts changed. Beautifully decorated with antique furniture but the bathroom was very modern. The mattress was very good and we had the most restfully night on our trip....and then the fantastic breakfast!! Food and service was awesome!

My husband and I visited during our anniversary vacation. The Monmouth was a beautiful place. Staff was super friendly and helpful. My husband thought it was probably the best complimentary breakfast he ever had and I agree. Our waitress was fabulous! I would recommend for others to stay. The photos I shared are of the outbuilding we stayed in.

The only reason this was not straight 10 was our room was on the second floor of an out building with a small stairwell that my husband had to cart my huge bag up.

Breakfast was delicious😋! The internet said bottle water available in the room. NOT TRUE! There was no bottle water available. Please revise your ad. Parking was designated for the Pond Cottage Guests. We were not able to park in the designated parking spot. It was raining really hard and Michael at the front desk told my husband to park on the back of the cottage. There was no walk way available to walk around to the front entrance from the back where employees park. Need more parking spots when guests are checking in to keep from parking the Pond Cottage Guests parking area. Overall I will give the Inn an 8 on the scale of 1 to 10.

Parking. Guests who are checking in park in designated spots. Need more parking for checking in.

this was our first time visiting Natchez for my 40th birthday. we loved the location of the property. It is a few miles from the downtown area but that was a plus for us because of the noise that other inns might have.

in my opinion the property and rooms could use some tlc. the grounds need some attention and an overall cleaning of the property. there was algae on our windows and the gutters were clogged with leaves. the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in our room but the home is so beautiful that these things don’t take over.

It was everything we expected and hoped for (and both our hopes and expectations were high!). Staff was very welcoming, rooms very nice (and individual). The whole atmosphere of the place was just great.

The bed was a bit on the "small" side, and the room itself didn't have a window, only the entrance room did. However this was only our room; the other two rooms we booked were both super fine.

Very nice and cosy area, beautiful park with a pond. The rooms were nicely decorated in style. Lots of space and silent during the night. Breakfast was very good and a very nice waitress to serve us.
