The staff was friendly and helpful. The lounge are in the lobby was very nice. It had lots of seating, areas to work, outlets and the pool table was great. I liked that it had some of the little things you might have forgotten available to purchase. The breakfast was just enough- eggs, meat, cereals and a great waffle/pancake bar with lots of toppings. The amenities were clean and easily accessible. The room was clean and had all we needed. The soaps and shampoos smelled fantastic!! Location was very convenient - close to downtown, but away from all the congestion. Places to eat within walking distance and even the movie theater/bowling alley next door.

I know there was a microwave in the lobby, but maybe one on each floor would be helpful?

Front desk staff was super helpful. LOVED the pool table and games. Our room door stuck horribly (we reported it) and the mechanism that prevented the door from slamming did NOT work. As for the beds, the platform area was full of dead skin cells and hair (I understand that area is difficult to clean but, the platform itself is the issue.

Oops....see above. Also, breakfast until 9am should be extended to 10.

Location was great. It was quiet. Staff was friendly. Sometimes I did have to wait in the lobby for someone to arrive and help but it wasn’t a long wait.

Pillows and bed wasn’t as comfortable as expected. Breakfast ended sooner than desired. Wish it stayed open a little later as I tend to sleep in just a little more than usual when staying at a hotel.

The room was so comfortable and the addition of a refrigerator was very helpful. The lack of a closet was great, as the area above the refrigerator was so organized and provided hooks, hangers, and even an iron and ironing board. In addition, the staff was very personable and welcoming, making sure that I was comfortable letting them know of any issues. They also explained the first floor area amenities--the snack bar and coffee and even a sort of meet and greet. The shower in particular had fantastic power and helped with my exhaustion after a 15-hour drive. I have nothing but nice things to say about the amenities and the staff. I will stay there again.

I left my phone charger and called a couple of hours later in the hopes that I could pick it up before I left town. The staff stated that they had not seen it. I had to pay $35 to replace the charger on my way home. I definitely needed a microwave in the room, as a microwave was listed among amenities, and I did not expect it to be one communal microwave in the lobby. Once I was in the room, I was there for the night. It would be simple to put a microwave on top of the refrigerator in each room.

They had great amenities, the front desk area was a social area with nooks to sit in, plenty of desk/tables. There were games for the kidos and a pool table. The room was clean, and the bathroom had a shower not a tub, and the soaps were different than expected( great product). I found out when i checked out that they had a nice selection of beer and wine to purchase there.

Only thing i would have liked would have been a pool.

The property is very clean, and the staff very friendly. We were greeted and made to really feel welcome. The breakfast was decent, but appreciated. The shower is awesome!

We did not have any complaints while we were there. The friendly staff was a very welcomed change from other properties.

Tru is a minimalistic style of hotel: less amenities in the room, less space, and not opulent. But, the rooms are extremely clean, sharply pointed (for what is included), and comfortable. The lobby is a communal space, so it begs more interaction among strangers, and in this day of being isolated, this is a good thing. We love Tru, and if you are good with not having a room that you overpay for so the hotel can afford to stuff rooms with things we don't normally use anyhow, take a chance and be part of a movement to TRUly enjoy a good night's sleep.

I love how it is designed for cleanliness. Having no carpet in the rooms is a huge plus for me! I loved that there was a pool table, it entertained us for hours! I also loved the up to date technology features in the rooms and lobby. I LOVED the squeeze bottle pumps on the soaps/conditioner/lotions instead of having tiny little bottles!

Locale

The baseball team staying there that was allowed to run crazy all over the place while parents sat and drank and desk clerk just ignored it while our party sat trying to relax and talk. It was obvious he didn't want to deal with the situation.

The breakfast was excellent. It had a good variety of items . Everything tasted fresh. The staff was very friendly. The room was very comfortable. Very pleased to have our request for a roll in shower and handicap commode granted. The location is great and area is quiet.

Nothing, we have no complaints or recommendations.
