Breakfast was delightful, and inventive! The beds were comfortable. We were on the top floor, and had to navigate two flights of a curving staircase, which we were able to do. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Just a beautiful, tranquil old place.

The house was magnificent and beautiful at the same time. the front porch had rocking chairs so you could overlook the garden. Inside was like being back in the 1860’s or so, beautiful floors, furniture and the breakfast was great never ate an egg Benedict before.it was delicious, refreshments available 24/7.?If I pass through Hannibal MO again I would love to stay longer.

From the moment I booked the room, there was clear communication from John about Garth Mansion and what they offered. The guest information was sent by email. Signage to get to the mansion was great. The mansion was beautiful and filled with antiques. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and had a spa tub. The kitchen had snacks available for us if needed and a refrigerator with drinks available. The flower gardens and green spaces around the mansion were beautiful. I woke up early, got a cup of coffee from the kitchen and sat on the veranda to greet the day. (John graciously made sure there was decaf available). Breakfast was delightful with fruit, muffins, a frittata for my husband and a vegetarian option for me. Everyone was warm, friendly, but also left us to enjoy the mansion and all it had to offer. We loved it!

Our breakfasts were delicious every morning. A wide variety of foods were provided, and the presentation was beautiful.
There wasn't anything that we were unhappy with. We would definitely return to Garth Mansion if we're ever in the Hannibal area again.

The breakfast was amazing! The chef made an entirely new dish each morning with exceptional food combinations.
The road to getting there was massively cracked and bumpy. Once on the property the roads were nice.

Breakfast was excellent with lovely presentation and lots of fresh fruit.
We enjoyed climbing the stairs actually, but if someone had difficulty with stairs it may be difficult for them to stay in the mansion.

The breakfasts were outstanding. Our room was so cozy and very nicely decorated. The hosts were very welcoming. A beautiful place to relax just sitting looking out at their beautiful property. Looking forward to returning.
