My husband and I spent 4th of July weekend and it was a wonderful stay. The cabin we had was basically a shed but it was cozy and had everything we needed.

The boat ramp they have is very steep and its a tight squeeze to get back to it. Our speed boat was too big so we had to drive to a public ramp and pay for a day pass. Not a huge deal but was a bit disappointed. Also, the bar thats across the street pretty loud. We're pretty heavy sleepers so we didn't have trouble with it at night but if you're a light sleeper that might be something to keep in mind.

It had a pool and the lake to swim in. There were deer by our cabin. If you needed fresh towels, you get them yourself. The lady in the office is very friendly and helpful.

I liked/disliked the band playing across the cove at Backwater Jacks. (Friday & Saturday) Sunday was a different band and wasn't as loud. Positive: we could listen to the music without paying a cover, but they played late while we were trying to sleep, but I thought it was alright. At least they played music from the 80's.

We stayed in #3, which had been wonderfully updated, wood floors, etc. Beautiful view of the water! We loved the view from the big windows on both sides of our room. Most importantly, it was extremely clean! We loved having the kitchen area, dishes, stove, microwave, coffee pot. The only thing I wish we knew beforehand was to bring our own coffee. We just ran to Walmart and grabbed a small bag of coffee and filters; although, we realized later the pot had a built-in filterđź‘ŤAlso, Kathleen was so incredibly kind and helpful. I spoke to her before we came to let her know we would be coming in after 5:00 due to making some stops on the way, and she was so sweet and even turned the light on in our room, so it would not be dark when we arrived. She was just as sweet in person when we checked out!

We were a bit concerned that the only lock on the door was one of those old, simple turn locks, which didn't seem particularly secure. It probably wouldn't have bothered us as much if my husband and son had come as well, but this was just a girls trip with my daughters, and although we loved our room right by the timber, a stronger, more secure lock would be nice. The only other thing we noticed, is our wall air conditioning/heat was very loud, so if you wanted to watch anything, it was hard to hear, but we really only watched things in the evening when we weren't out hiking, etc.

Everything about this weekend trip with the family member was excellent that I am in the process as we speak of trying to book for another family member husband and wife's first anniversary beds were comfortable and clean it was warm climate control bathroom with so clean you can eat off the floor lol

Everything was intact in place even though I didn't need a washer and dryer that's the only thing that it was missing not that I needed it had plenty of clothing

Location was perfect. They thought of everything for the guest. The cabin was very cozy and just perfect for 2 people.

Only complaint I have was that the resort is under quite a bit of construction and we were not able to access the water. Because of that, the cabin I initially booked was downgraded to a smaller one. Even though I loved the cabin we were in, I was traveling with my son and we had only one bed. So having a couch or extra bed would have been nice.

it was obvious that they are under renovations, but this did not interrupt our stay. Our unit had everything we needed, down to cleaning tools for the grill. The young man at the boat dock was very helpful. We'll def rent a pontoon on our next stay here!!

the mattresses were too firm. But that's just me.

Clean rooms, close to town, nice pool, very nice staff. There were grills to use, though a little worn down.

I didn't realize it was directly across from Backwater Jack's, a huge lake bar/entertainment facility. The picture I attached is the view from the deck right outside our room. We looked directly across to it. Not all rooms at the resort do, but our building did. It makes for good people watching, but there was live music every night, so it did make for a lot of sound until 10-11pm. We have little kids, and the rooms were well enough insulated to not keep them awake, so I'm thankful for that. It's the Ozarks, not the middle of nowhere, so I fully understand the context, I would just do a better job of letting guests know that in advance, so it's not a total surprise.

The location was perfect and the staff extremely accommodating. We felt welcome and the rooms were perfect for what we were locking for.

The proximity to the popular bar/restaurant meant there was alot of traffic on the water. However, we got free live music out of it so its a fair trade :)

It was very nice. We were upgraded to #6 from #2 originally. The bed was very comfortable. The deck was nice to watch the boats go by.

The air conditioner didn't seem to cool very well.

Quiet, clean, and good central location. Being right on the water was nice, too.

We were at the lake for Bikefest. The Hotel was great, but the gravel parking lot was difficult for motorcycles. Hills and gravel are a bad combo for bikes.
