EVERYTHING. Before staying, I read a review that said something like ‘the every hotel/motel in Helena needs to get training from these staff”. I completely agree. Front desk was warm, kind, and very helpful. No remote was in the room, but the gal was right on bringing a remote and connecting the TV when we had problems— very accommodating. Great location to everything downtown. Also, check-in and check out was very easy.

I think the carpets could be shampooed more regularly

Quiet, cozy. It's on last chance gulch, you can hear the Cathedral bells ring(brings heavan into the heart) plus the view is beautiful. A park near by, plus walking in this area is safe, relaxing & lots happening. The office staff is coo 😉 Real coo 😉 she is solid ☆Also, my dog lounges like the hound in love when we stay. He loves budget Inn ☺ ♥ The cleaning people are magnificent. Very accommodating, good people!! Did I say it was quiet!! Love the ✌

Location and clean friendly people gave me the room I wanted and helped me with what I needed very accountable Again I only stayed one night and they made sure I was taken care of hot tub was something I wanted to do but wasn't sure where it was

Smell of pot was lingering. And my TV had this on again off again stuff. There's not much to say I only stayed one night and it wasn't too bad you advertised a hot tub but there was no mention of it during check in I would have gladly used that

The motel is dated, but well maintained. The location provides easy access to downtown, the Capitol, and Carroll College. The staff was extraordinarily gracious and helpful. This is probably stellar as a “base station” in the summer, and the restaurants nearby are first-rate.

There is a homeless shelter across the street, and the people who need/use the shelter congregated in the parking lot and on the sidewalk adjacent to the motel. Moving past them was upsetting to my son. Additionally, access to the front desk appeared to be controlled due to the presence of so many homeless people. We understand it’s not the motel’s fault and people need help, but it is a point of concern.

The motel is a couple of blocks from the retail and eatery area - but an easy walk. Parking right outside the room is nice. It was relatively quiet and I slept well.

Note that Helena's homeless community are resident in the neighborhood which might seem concerning at first glance. But it is actually reassuring to have locals with an eye on the area, which is a deterrent to mischief.

Great location. So close to a really nice 'pedestrian only' area/mall with good restaurants and a really nice atmosphere. Hotel itself was clean and safe, with a well-lit parking area. Great value for the cost.

Nothing to dislike.

Awesome pillows and perfect location. We stay here every time we come to Helena. Fantastic staff who knocked on our door during the day just to check if we needed anything. Didn't make me feel guilty about asking for things I wanted, like other places do.

Floor wasn't clean under edges or back of bed. Fridge didn't keep things cold.

I loved how close the stores was to the property very clean and they were very nice

Closeness to downtown.

Close to homeless population. It’s not an issue, but could be. My microwave and tv didn’t power on. I told the staff and reported it. Staff said they’d come check it out. They never came and fixed it.

Great location to downtown and easy access to trails/roads for riding. The front desk guy who checked me in was very nice. He had "rag" towels to give me when I asked, so I could clean my bike from a rainy ride. It was quiet and I got several really good nights of sleep

The toilet seat was loose and kept sliding to the side. The bathroom sink stopper didn't rise up correctly so it was slow to drain and dripped. The tub was also slow to drain but otherwise everything else was good.
