The location is excellent for if you'd like to go see Great Basin National Park, as the park is just a quick 8 minute drive to the entrance from the hotel itself. It's a pretty standard motel, with decorations that are specific to the area. We had a microwave and a mini fridge, bathroom with shower and towels, bed with the right sized pillows, one for each person, and a table that my boyfriend could work at with ease. Parking is right in front of the room so moving items in and out of the car was easy, and Wi-Fi worked great which is always pleasant to find. We bring around three plushies as pillows and when housekeeping came by they arranged them so that they were hugging which was the cutest thing I had ever seen before in my entire life. Great stay overall.

Nothing in particular, I guess I'd have to say this is a relatively remote location so you just have to trust that when you hear howling winds outside it's just cause it's windy and nothing scary happening out there. If you're a light sleeper I'd say pack some earplugs since the air conditioner was not the most quiet, but in my opinion, if it works, it works.

Great location close the Great Basin National Park. It was nice having the restaurant & bar on site. Joe who checked us in and later served us drinks and food was fantastic! So friendly and made us feel welcome. After reading comments I wasn't sure about this place. It is a more rustic hotel but everything was very clean and towels were extra fluffy. There was no TV but we didn't care about that.

It was exactly what we needed driving across country. Easy and simple!! We needed to rest our heads, the bed was so comfortable, we slept like babies! The shower felt so good, it was hot and great water pressure. Nothing fancy, but it served a great purpose; rest, quiet, a shower, and friendly and helpful employees.

The price could have been a little less. Over all, do not go in expect the Ritz Carlton and you will not be disappointed.

The location was good (particularly the proximity to Great Basin National Park), the rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly.

Despite reviews claiming that the restaurant had vegan options and the restaurant having a vegetarian menu, virtually none of the items on the vegetarian menu (let alone anything vegan) were actually available (Monty Python cheese shop anyone ?).

We didn't realize there was no TV in the room, but actually that was a plus in relaxing for the evening. The small grocery store in the main building allowed us to buy items for breakfast. It was a convenient location for visiting Great Basin National Park which is a gem to explore.

A simple place with all necessary amenities for a one-night stay. If your goal is to visit Great Basin NP then this is a good choice, decent price with a good restaurant on-site.

The room is small, hair dryer was missing but just ask for it. No cup for hot drinks but go and ask for it.

This is a quaint motel, cafe, and casino on Route 50, the loneliest road in the U.S. Very clean with a microwave and refrigerator. The cafe had great service and the food was terrific diner fare with generous portions at reasonable prices. The location is convenient to the beautiful Great Basin National Park. At night the park is a stargazers dream, a certified dark sky location.

We booked a queen room, but ended up with a double. Luckily it was comfortable enough.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but my room was very nice. The staff was great. The food in their restaurant was delicious.

I wish it was closer to Great Basin National Park which was my reason for visiting the area. Not their fault, just a bit of a drive.

Want to experience a motel as it existed 60 years ago? This is it. Funky little units next to gas pumps, slot machines, a marginal restaurant, a convenience store .. and a sit on a bench and look across 50 miles of wide-open! It is the only thing at the border: an all-in-one. Get away from modern marketing and travel back to this roadside stop.

Two beds in a tight room for a family of three.

Very close to Great Basin National Park. The staff were friendly every time we were in. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and had a lot of food for $7 per plate.

It could stand to be updated, but everything was functional and clean.
