I was a little hesitant to book here due to reviews, but honestly I’m glad I did. I came out to Vegas last minute for a music festival happening that weekend. Room rates everywhere were HIGH. I was able to book a room here at an actual decent price. I can’t remember the front desk persons name, but she was super sweet explaining things to us and helping us find Fremont street! (first time Vegas visitors). The room was very clean. You can tell it definitely is an older hotel, but it was super clean and I appreciate that. My only complaint would be not having a fridge, microwave, or breakfast. But other than that we enjoyed our stay! When we come back to Vegas, this will be our first choice!

it was in a nice quiet location, not crowded, clean with no bugs. The outside area was also clean no people hanging out on the streets around and not a lot of activity in the middle of the night. nothing fancy but a decent stay if you just need a place to sleep and don’t plan on staying in the room a lot.

there was no toilet paper in my room, and the pillows were pretty flat/small.

The thing that switched the shower and bath wouldn't move but that ended up helping with washing my blisters as it made it so I didn't have to put any pressure on them.

The location wasn’t the best. When I booked OYO I didn’t realize there was another OYO (Gateway) downtown area. I did my thing during the day and walking to 7-11 for coffee. I will share this, this place is a fortress and it made me feel safe during my stay. I might suggest on updating on the door locks.

The property was in a great location, easy walking distance to the Arts District and reasonable walking distance to the main downtown area, as I was there for Life is Beautiful. The woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful when I had trouble unlocking the door to my room.

The room itself was probably one of the worst/grossest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Stains all over the carpet, the cushion on the chair was torn. I will say the bathroom seemed clean enough, likely because the floor in there is easier to clean than the carpet. Everything else overall had a very grimy, unclean feel. The area is about what you would expect for a typical downtown area of a city. I ordinarily don’t leave reviews like this and try not to judge these things too harshly, but I can’t say I would recommend staying here or would stay here again as a solo female traveler.
