Clean bed, bathroom. Acceptable. Location right off hwy 80. Nice receptionist. No hwy noise. No noise from other guests.

May want to avoid room 5. It’s the last room on the end and an employee uses the storage room right beside the hotel room to invite people over to fix bikes. Often they stand right in front of the window of room 5 to discuss the repair and even do the repair right in the little ally there. Too noisy. Otherwise the room was ok for 1 night stay. I wish it was $70 instead of $110. $70 would be about right for that room.

Location was good for close food, shower worked well!

Sheets were a little dirty, had a few human long hairs, and carpet needs a shampooing. TV did not function either, but I was not there for that, just to sleep for the night.

Squeeky clean and well outfitted. We have stayed here on many occasions over the past 30 years because Winnemucca is a convenient one-day drive from the San Francisco Bay area. Fortunately the quality has remained excellent after the original owners retired and sold the property several years ago.

Early departures from neighboring units who race their car engines outside your door. However this has nothing to do with the quality of the motel itself - only the thoughtlessness of certain guests.

My daughter, son-in-law, his mom and I stayed there several times before. The managers have alll been very pleasant, receptive, helpful and professional each and every time we were there. They suggested nearby restaurants, attractions and directions whenever we inquired. The rooms have been impeccable, all the appliances were clean and in good condition.

An old-fashioned motel that's simple, clean, and exactly what we needed as a stopover for our trip. They had an ice machine with water for guests, and TV with lots of cable channels, including HBO. Staff was friendly too.

Only thing was that the pillows were missing covers, and there could have been a couple more provided. We still slept perfectly well.

Have stayed here many times traveling from Idaho to California and back; always clean comfortable, convenient & very affordable ;the owners have changed but not the motel

Large room with King bed, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and small dining table. Comfortable bed. Quiet heat and A/C. Good WiFi. Convenient for traveling with dog with nice grass area nearby. Parking is right in front of rooms.

The parking lot does not accommodate trailers, but parking is available on the street. TV kept going black every 20 minutes or so.

The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed being able to park right at our door. We appreciated the vintage furnishings and look, and the friendly environment. It was like time traveling, not just because of the room but because of the low price! For the price, this is definitely the best value in Winnemucca, we were safe, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

The outdoor pool was closed, and that would have been nice to note on the listing. The door seemed less secure with the old school key lock but was probably just as secure or more than a newer, larger hotel. There was a deadbolt. I was a little afraid with modern keyless cars that our car keys in our room might actually be close enough to our car for someone to start it, so we put the fob as far away from the front window as possible.

This basic motel is a wonderful step back in time. It reminded me of places we used to stay on road trips as a kid with my family. Yes, it is old, but it is clean, well kept and comfortable. And the sheep motif is cute! A blast from the past! The room was larger than most. So was the refrigerator! It is located one block off the main street, so it is quieter, and right across the street is a laundromat. We noticed than while most of the motels on the main drag had vacancies, this was full, so make sure you book in advance. The owner is very nice and answered the bad reviews as well as the good, so that tells me he cares. Would definitely stay again if ever in Winnemucca. Thank you!

Needed a quick stop over spot on a road trip and this place was perfect. Easy to find, probably the easiest check in I’ve seen in years with friendly staff and a well stocked room. Mini fridge, comfortable bed, clean. Not fancy but just what we needed.
