Very clean and good value for money

The breakfast was wonderful with good choices

1. the mini refrig did not have a freezer section. this is important for us traveling with food or taking food back as we need to refreeze our freezer paks. 2. the note on the ice maker room said to keep the door open as it gets hot in there. However there was no stopper to keep the door open. Either a latch on wall to keep it open or a door stopper! 3. how do you keep trash cans cleans without a plastic bag to protect it? 4. there was food left in the refrigerator from previous usage....

Clean, quiet and comfy bed. Staff were great and super accommodating as we arrived early and they allowed us to check in as soon as they had a room available which was more than an hour early. Bathroom was neat and clean as well. Hotel is on a busy street and noise was not bad at all.

Bathtub was a little slippery and needs some non-slip stickers added to it. Entrance is easy to miss but not a real problem if you are paying attention.

From the front desk, to the breakfast staff, even the check out process we were greeted with smiling faces and very happy employees. The room was SPOTLESS and we had a cool view of an active train track which we could see but didn't have to hear. The room was up to date and very comfortable, plenty of charging ports for devices, lots of counter space and big ole cozy bed!!! Bathroom equipped with pump bottles of soaps and lotions not the little ones nothing comes out of from a brand you've never seen! There was plenty of parking and the hotel was very easy to get to coming from New York. Keurig style coffee pot in the room and a breakfast not worth missing. I've left a lot of hotels and skipped their "breakfast". Holiday inn, especially this one.....worth waking up for !!!!! Look forward to staying at this hotel when we are back in the New jersey/New York area!!!

That we couldn't have stayed longer. This was easily the quietest and most comfortable hotel stay we have had in a long time and being greeted like we were at almost midnight on a Friday makes you WANT to stay for a few days. Easily a 10 star hotel!!!!

Comfortable beds, clean and quiet. free parking! Nice staff!

Nothing. as other reviewers said you can not walk anywhere but if you have a car or take Uber etc, the location is great. convenient to a lot of highways to S NJ and NYC.

Breakfast was great! So was location.

The staff was great with the exception of one person who asked me if I was statying at the hotel after I asked for a toothbrush and paste, which a previous staff member provided with no problem. It's one thing if were unkempt and my clothes were disheveled, but such was not the case! It was a highly offensive question as an african american man, who was well groomed in his 50s, being questioned by a 20- year old if I am lying in order to get a toothbrush and paste. HIGHLY OFFENSIVE.!!!

The staff were very polite and excited to see each visitor, which made me feel welcome. The hotel smelled and looked very clean. Our beds were comfortable and I liked the extra pillows. The AC worked great, as I get hot and need it pretty cold in there. The floor we were on was very quiet, which I love. Breakfast was from 630-930 which is great. A lot of hotels stop at 8 and I like to sleep in a bit more and still get breakfast. We had an incident where we drove about 20 min away to a bus station, and realized my daughter had forgotten her phone. I have it on a tracker so I could see it at the hotel. I called up and explained and the wonderful woman at the front desk immediately went up to make sure it was there and grabbed it for us, so it was at the desk when we came back to get it. Great experience.

Only thing missing was a waffle maker at breakfast!

Comfortable & clean rooms for a family of 4 (2 small kids). Staff were helpful & anticipated our needs before it was asked (mainly housekeeping issues). Overall it was a stay that was uneventful & problem free.

The location of the hotel may require some planning for transportation to & from tourist sites around NYC & surrounding areas in Jersey City.

It was an all around nice hotel with super comfortable beds.

Hotel was a little pricey however this was our first time in the area so perhaps all hotels are pricey. The area was a bit sketchy (lots of graffiti) but hotel felt safe. We did ask about possibly changing to one night instead of two. The hotel referred us to booking.com but then booking.com referred us back to the hotel so we never got any further with thar.

I was nicely surprised by the breakfast. As for the hotel there was a big variety of different dishes to choose. The lady from the breakfast staff was always smiling, helpful and kept the place tidy.

We have problems with receiving the tax back (we have tax exemption card).
