The communication with the owners was outstanding - very responsive, easy-going and friendly. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and they provided everything we needed. The in-room continental breakfast was just right too! The pool and sitting areas were clean and looked peaceful as well, but we didn't have the time to take advantage of them unfortunately. We definitely would stay here again (and for longer) and recommend Adobe Rose Inn to anyone traveling to this area - it is such a great value for a stay. Plus, it is a great stop in between White Sands and Carlsbad Caverns National Parks. The connected restaurant is excellent as well. Thank you for a restful night on our New Mexico adventure!

We chose the Adobe Rose because of the high rating of the restaurant. Unfortunately we chose a day when the restaurant was closed. We still enjoyed our 1 night stay at this extremely clean, well-run Inn. Our room (#4) was perfect for friends. Two huge beds in two rooms so you could pull the sliding door closed. The added privacy was nice. The breakfast items left in our room were plentiful and generous. Thank you for this! We also appreciated the use of the washer and dryer in the common area. We were extremely pleased with this Inn.

That the restaurant was closed

The place felt like home. Megan was great and very accommodating. My flight was delayed and I called and she made sure she was in the office to give me my key to my room. The bed was very comfortable. She provided a continental breakfast in our room and refreshed it daily. I was the perfect spot to stay and very close to FLETC. The restaurant was amazing and having a private entrance to the restaurant from my room was very convenient.

The place was perfect no changes needed

The location, next to an electrical substation and an industrial parking lot, is not appealing at first glance. However, the property itself is beautiful. The room was large, had a wonderful bed amd they provided light breakfast items. The restaurant next door was lovely. The swimming pool is not heated so our swim was brief and brisk! All in all, it was a jewel. Well worth the time and effort, great value. Don't be put off by the location because the property itself is terrific.

Cold pool!

It was such a pleasure to be welcomed by Megan in person in an age of check-ins by text message! The room had lots of character as well as all the amenities we could ask for. The bed was very comfortable. We were fine with the continental-breakfast supplies in the room though I guess that some guests might have wanted a more substantial breakfast. The Adobe Rose restaurant next door is deservedly very popular - good cooking and very reasonable prices. Recommended!

Well, Artesia isn't a top destination though it does have more of interest than one might expect, such as the library with the Peter Hurd mural.

I loved the stay. Check in was seamless. The room was very cozy. The style created an oasis of comfort. Bathroom was lovely, clean, and toiletries were provided. Having snacks and drinks for breakfast was a wonderful addition. I communicated briefly during my stay with the host and it was professional and prompt.

I didn’t mind, though the walkway to check in / get to other rooms is along the room windows so if your curtains are open everyone can see in easily . AC unit works great but is a teeny bit loud if you’re a light sleeper.

The attention to detail taken by the owners and the professionalism of the staff makes me sad that I won't be back in Artesia for quite some time. Whether it's a nice restaurant on site, the snacks and beverages in the rooms to make your stay more comfortable or the pool, there are several amenities that make your stay at the Adobe Rose memorable.

Honestly there wasn't anything that I didn't like. The rooms were well appointed, clean, comfortable and the rates were a great value. The ownership went above and beyond to look after my family who checked in two days before I was able to arrive.

We loved the hotel. It is very pretty. We had dinner at the attached restaurant which was great. Our room and the amenities were comfortable and very well appointed and there were plenty of extra nice touches. We were the only people staying in the inn and kept in touch with the staff as we were arriving after dark, (construction on the road), yet were met by a cheerful desk clerk who made sure we were completely settled in and had all of our questions answered before he left for the evening. Later I wrote with a further question and received an almost immediate response.

We did not the town so much. The area stinks and there was construction on the road and some sort of a utility farm next door.

Loved the cute room and beautiful shower! And of course the restaurant was exceptional!!! Loved that we were across the street from the FLTC, too:-)

The only thing wrong was that we both had sore backs from the bed (room 2). It was too soft and the pillows to high and I tossed and turned all night and finally took two melatonins to fall asleep. If you have others complaining about the same thing you should change that mattress! And also the pillows.. Such a shame - I wanted to say everything was exceptional, but our backs were really feeling it after two nights...

This 4 unit b&b type unit is very nice. Each bedroom has its own very nice bathroom and shower. All the rooms have doors that open to the outside as well as a separate door that opens to a shared living area with 2 tables, couch and other chairs, washer & dryer, etc. Each room has nice snacks, yogurt, juice, milk, etc which are complimentary. There is a nice private pool in the back. Even though we were there in a run of 100° days, it was cool and refreshing. Decorations are nice and in the SW theme. This would also be a nice place if you had a group that wanted 4 separate rooms and a shared area. The restaurant next door is very nice.

The foam mattress was firmer than we preferred. But overall it was a great place and value.
