I really liked the staff. They were very pleasant and polite. The swimming pool was amazing and clean all the time. The maintenance really keeps that pool top-notch the first room we got was dirty and they were more than happy to put us in another room very sweet and kind about it, the beds were uncomfortable but it’s just what you prefer as a mattress to each of their own other than that the stay was great! I honestly wouldn’t mind staying there again, even with a beds! The pool makes up for that! And the location

I don't like the cockroaches we found crawling on top of the desk. I have never had any bugs in any of these hotels. I turned on the light to plug in my phone and they were running get away from the light. I like Days Inn i stay at one every time i travel out of town

The first room we've got smelled so much like cigarette. Like the persons before us we're smoking insights the room. In my family before we all have asthma but the young lady working at the front desk then I hesitate to find another room for us. Thank you so much for everything and being so nice, polite and professional.

The first one that we got smelled like someone had been smoking inside the room. I respect that people like to smoke but I don't and if there is a rule of not smoking in the room they should respect it.

The hotel is very close to Old Mesilla, which is very cute and historically really interesting. There is not a lot to do in Las Cruces - for us it was a stop driving from Albuquerque to El Paso. Don't miss the roadrunner statue! The room was clean and comfortable with a fridge and microwave. There was a hairdryer too. Wifi worked well. There was no noise at night so we could sleep well. Breakfast was good with a waffle machine, bread, fruits, cereals, coffee and tea (for tea-drinker, it was lipton style bags so you may want to bring yours!), eggs. We didn't have any problem to sit in the area in the morning. If you need, there is a Walmart behind the hotel - and the highway is not very far.

Nice, clean room - and bed! I appreciated the bright interior with its red, yellow and blue accents. No carpet, which is perfect for me. Kind receptionists, and an overall great night.

The toilet was serviceable, but could be updated; you have to hold down the handle to make sure it flushes. I was afraid it might struggle with toilet paper, so I didn't flush much of it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. NO carpet in room yay! Very clean with good hot water. Room has frig,micro, coffee, hair dryer and iron. My stay was great and restful.

The only negative thing I would say is there were very few guests and they rented the room right next to me at 9:30 pm. They were loud moving in. But that's rude guests not motels fault unless they could have skipped a room between us. Once they were settled I was able to go back to sleep.

Very clean, nice decor - loved the non carpeted floors. Great bed and the room had everything we could possibly need. I noticed the desk clerk offered pool towels to those were interested in the pool. They have a strict non-smoking policy, but provide a nice covered gazebo with seating in the central parking area. Continental Breakfast was fine - waffles, yogurt, bagels/toast, oatmeal, juice & fresh fruit.

Nothing I didn’t like — I guess the room fridge could have been stocked with beer & wine, but I never see that anywhere.

Room was looked nice and was very clean, and the bed was comfortable enough that I didn't wake up with a migraine (rare for me when traveling). The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to call me right away when I forgot my laptop.

I guess if I had to think of something I wouldn't have minded lotion in the room in addition to shampoo and soap.

We stay frequently at this motel because of location and value.

We were shocked to find out that the room rate from one weekend to the other had substantially increased. The friendly desk clerk who recognized us as frequent guests explained that this was due to the NMSU graduation. We find it sick for the motel to increase room prices by that much and bleed guests from out of town.

We stayed overnight during our road trip over the holidays. The check in staff member was accommodating in accommodating our request of having a room in a quieter location, due to our infant. We liked the room, it had plenty of storage and the microwave and fridge seemed new and we’re clean. We appreciated the hotels efforts in waste reduction by not lining the trash bins with plastic bags. Also in the lobby bathrooms, they used non-bleached paper towels.

To counter the note above about waste reduction, hotel chains need to stop using styrofoam in their breakfast offerings. This hotel has Styrofoam. They took their coffee and tea station down when breakfast ended, and I think that is one thing that is nice to offer longer into the day, so they could have left that up longer.
