Rooms, dining area and grounds beautifully decorated. A lovely place with lots of style. Breakfast was very good, quiche and muffin one morning, souffle and sausage the next; a "starter" of a small bowl of fresh fruit, good yogurt and house granola. Good coffee. Very friendly hostess. Dogs welcome!

The location is a fairly close to town, but not really walking distance. Definitely need a car.

We are foodies and the breakfast was delicious, everything is made with care and fresh ingredients. The dining room is so peaceful with a touch of culture . Every space is an experience and the owners are very attentive .

The place don't have air-conditioners (fans only, in case someone needs A/C) , but we went on June and the weather was pleasant , fresh air and they are located in the middle of a beautiful enviroment with lots of trees .

Lovely historic property that has been lovingly restored with attention to detail. The property is managed by the owners who live on site. Breakfasts are hearty with juice, coffee, granola followed by a hot egg entree. We hope to return again next year.

The property location was not walking distance to the historic Taos town square but we knew that prior to booking.

This B&B was very close to the downtown with lots of shops and restaurants. The owners were actually present and fixed breakfast our first morning. Enjoyed a great conversation with the owners. The dining area was very clean.

We ate breakfast 2 out of the three mornings we were there. We had pretty much the same breakfast both mornings. The rooms are cozy but could use some updating and a good deep clean. The shower needs to be updated.

Bob was extremely friendly and fun to talk with. The family dog was wonderful. The outdoor space where you can sit and chill was probably the highlight for us. Lovely backyard with chairs to watch the sunset and just relax without having to sit inside your room.

The building is old which is why it's so charming. My only complaint is that the carpet looks extremely worn and therefore dirty. That was the only thing about it that we didn't care for. I'd love to see them tear out the carpet and see what's underneath and leave it as wood or tile.

The breakfast was wonderful and Sara was wonderful the atmosphere is great the quietness the peacefulness the hospitality is wonderful. Will return either in the summer or next Christmas. Love the Taos area well keep secret in New Mexico and The Old Taos Guesthouse gives you an opportunity to experience the beauty of the area.

Nothing this gives you a taste of New Mexico and its history. Its Great.

Staying at the Guesthouse let us feel the real essence of Taos. Breakfast every day was something different, all hand prepared by Bob and Mary/Cady. Bob was a fount of information, we followed his recommendations and had great adventures each day of our stay. We will be returning to Taos to enjoy the hospitality offered by Bob and Cady. Yazmin and I can confidently send our friends and relations to Old Taos knowing they will enjoy their visit just as we did. Bird watching was the best!

There was nothing that could have been better other than the bed. Ambience of a two hundred year old hacienda trumps any any minor inconvenience (we had none).

My wife and Ioved the friendly and caring attention of the innkeepers and the stylish , comfortable accomodations that are perfectly integrated into a beautiful natural environment...very scenic and relaxing. Definitely will return!

it’s so peaceful and quiet. I had a room with a skylight and I loved it, I could lay in bed and see stars at night. A little ways out in the country, yet close to town.

the only thing I would have liked is cushions for the wood chairs outside o the little patio. Without cushions they were a little uncomfortable.

Fantastic King room with a California King sized bed, TV and fireplace. Tasty and warm breakfast included compliments of Bob. Out in the country, but still close enough to enjoy Taos; with animals that make it feel like a real home: "Scout" the dog, "Mimi" the sweet, affectionate cat and various chickens will make you feel welcome and special. Nice sitting areas off the back of the hotel with country views and chickens and Scout the dog running around.

We originally booked a queen. Go for the King suite for $40 more and have a memorable experience! We upgraded to the "Artist's studio" with a wonderful adobe fireplace, 40" TV, nice hot shower, and California King bed that is a dream to sleep on right next to huge awesome European styled, angled window facing the private back country view. King room was more than twice the size of the queen - huge and perfect for a couple! Breakfast served by personable, friendly Bob was French toast, sausage, fruit, coffee with Scout and purring, sweet Mimi coming up to you for loving pats!
