Open/clean facility we found the employees friendly and helpful. I hear the pool and hot tub were excellent and breakfast was available in the am..I though it was nice that the am server advised that if we ordered off the menu all cold items on buffet were included! I grabbed some delicious strawberries

As a business traveller from the UK, I ended up having to extend my stay an additional 12 nights due to having to isolate after contracting Covid. The staff could not have been more accommodating, helpful and friendly during this, all whilst ensuring safety for the other guests as well. They went the extra mile and made my unfortunate situation as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much to the entire team at Hilton Garden Inn Rochester. I will recommend you to everyone!

The manager made it very special for my daughter's birthday by giving her a special gift of snacks and a card.

the location was exactly where we needed. my husband had a doctor's appointment and the office is about a mile from the hotel.

I had expected to have breakfast at the hotel on Monday morning, but was told when we checked in that the bar and dining room were closed. then, the next morning, when I went out to Dunkin Donuts (which is also very close) I found there was coffee in the lobby and complimentary breakfast items. I would have liked to eat at the hotel dining room instead.

Gina the restaurant staff was exceptionally pleasant and accommodating to my daughter’s special needs diet. Also the front desk attendants were quite personable and readily responded to my texts.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Good hotel option on a busy expressway exit but also very close to the Erie Canal Bike Trail. Enjoyed the spa and pool area. Also appreciated the complementary bottled water and chocolates for guests. Room was spacious and they were able to accommodate our request for late check out.

Lobby decor needs an update. Was disappointed in the breakfast options since I had paid more for breakfast to be included in my rate. The prepackaged items on offer were not worth what I had paid.

This is a very comfortable hotel just of the Erie Canal Trail. Its a great place for a stopover when cycling the trail

Perfect location for us. Short walk to restaurants and canal. Staff was so so friendly with all of our kids. Swimming options were pretty open and everything was very clean.

Asked the sheets to be changed mid stay. They were not.

Clean enough. Remote app driven check in actually worked.

Nothing exceptional but satisfactory. For the rates, I'd expect a bit more. But admittedly, I travel the upstate NY area seldom and can't provide more rate comparison.
