I was upgraded to an executive room and it was lovely; spacious and modern. I have stayed quite a few times as my child attends Rochester Institute of Technology. The RIT Inn is only 4 miles away from RIT and it's an easy drive. The staff is lovely and very accomodating. Carrie, the evening manager, was very helpful. Patrick, the Front Desk Manager, was very attentive in checking me out and discussing the room charge. All in all, I recommend this hotel.

The executive room was lovely, but the standard rooms are a bit dated and they could also use a refresh. That being said, they are sparkling clean and I never worry about cleanliness when staying here. I noticed, for the first time this visit, that some of the parking lot lights were out and the lot was a bit dark. Also, this doesn't matter to me, but there is no free breakfast. Although, there is a lovely restaurant onsite, which is very convenient.

Lobbie was big and had a walled fireplace. A glassed in area off to the right of the fireplace had lots of pamphlets of things to do in the surrounding area. Room had 2 beds and had coffee and tea in room. Nice big window. The decor was dark, brown carpet, dark bed spread, beige walls. Lounge was closed when we were there and only open certain days. Friendly staff at check in, pool area had a friendly lifeguard on duty and there was also a sauna. It was a bit out of the town, but not a problem if you have a car. They might have had a shuttle into town.

Restaurant and lounge were only open on certain days. Breakfast was more like a cafeteria.

The staff at the RIT Inn and Conference Center were lovely and helpful. While I did have to request a room cleaning every day before noon, it was very easy to do. The room was cleaned every day and it looked great and smelled great. There is a Keurig machine in the room and the staff was happy to give us extra regular coffee K-Cups everyday, as we don't drink decaf. There is also a mini fridge and microwave. The pool areas, indoor and outdoor, were very clean and well maintained. I did not eat in the restaurants, but having them on site right in the lobby was convenient. There is also a very tiny, but convenient "shop" in the lobby for snacks. There was plenty of parking and the parking lot was well lit and felt very safe.

While my room was very, very clean, it was a bit dated. It could use a paint job and some more bright lighting. The lights, even when they were all on, still left the room very dim.

The staff were wonderful and accommodating. The location near RIT is perfect.

The room is very, very clean, but it is beginning to show its age and it’s a bit dated. I stayed on the 4th floor. I understand that the 5th floor is renovated. I feel that all of the rooms could use a renovation. Also, this was not a problem for me, but breakfast is not included. Just an FYI for other travelers.

When I checked in one of the ladies, that wasn't helping me and made it her business to get into the conversation. I wish I had her name. I also did not like being woke up 2 mornings in a row with vacuuming outside my door around 8am. I was very tried and I couldn't go back to sleep. I really think this is way too early to vacuum. Also, the water spout to the bath tub popped off when I was taking a shower and hit me in the shin, it's very bruised and I think it will be fine. A man came and fixed it the next day.

Great location for shopping, the hotel is close enough to the highway to be practical but not so close that it's loud or busy all the time. The room was a good size, had a mini-fridge AND microwave, which was unexpected but a nice surprise, and was clean. The staff were friendly.

The room had a musty smell upon first entry, but it wasn't coming from the bedding so perhaps the carpet? Not sure, but it eventually dissipated.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Pillows as well! The room was nice and dark and quiet. easy to access the room from the parking lot. we did not stay for breakfast but the menu looked good and quite reasonable.

the cooling system was hard to regulate to our comfort. ask for an extra blanket and be prepared to lower the temperature to lower than you would normally and you should be fine. my only complaint.

The member of staff who checked us in could have been a bit more personable. I stood in front of the desk for several minutes before he even acknowledged me. He didn’t offer any information about the hotel, I had to ask where the rooms were stuff like that. All other staff were warm and friendly when we encountered them though and I wouldn’t let that one interaction with the front desk deter me from staying again or recommending to others

There was an indoor pool and hot tub as well as an outdoor pool. The outdoor pool was lovely. We enjoyed swimming in it but when we went inside we were not allowed to use the hot tub because they did not have a second lifeguard on duty. I had planned to spend my afternoon and evening enjoying all of these luxuries and was extremely disappointed.

Absolutely loved everyone. The staff was very friendly. The most comfortable bed. Very clean. The location was perfect. I'm already planning another trip back and will definitely being staying at th RIT!

My daughter didn't care fir the coffee. The room was too cold and we could not change the temperature.
