The property was very close to the actual Lake, not even a 10 min drive. The property was exactly what we were looking for, a nice cozy cabin-like feel with exactly what you need, a bed, shower, fireplace, etc. Our cabin was very clean inside and out, and came with our very own parking spot. The cabins had working hot water and heat. The resort is pet friendly so our 2 boys were able to enjoy the outdoors as well. The inside of the cabin was a little cramped, but was expected with 2 people and 2 dogs, however like I said, it had exactly what we needed and were very content with our stay. The hosts, Jim and Karin, were amazing! They were very attentive to our needs and always asked if we needed anything. I definitely recommend this resort and I will definitely be staying here again!

The property is located within walking distance (0.3mi) from local restaurant/bar, and only 1mi from town. Gas stations, Dunkin Donuts, Price Chopper and McDonald’s 3mi up the road in the other direction. DoorDash available from several local restaurants and stores. Each cabin has a clearly marked parking space right next to each cabin. Fire wood available on site and delivered to cabin by staff which was extremely helpful since we were traveling on motorcycles. The owner was extremely friendly and checked on us several times to make sure everything was going well as we were there for his second weekend open under new management. Charcoal grill provided at each cabin and charcoal available for purchase on site. Beds were EXTREMELY comfortable and we we’re very pleasantly surprised. Linens pillows and towels provided. Wi-Fi was great. Roku tv in cabin with auto delete so when you put in your checkout date all of your personal information is deleted that morning. Mini fridge with freezer was a huge plus so we didn’t have to rely on coolers. We booked 2 cabins and conveniently we were given cabins 2&3 which were right next to each-other so we could visit easier. Different sites had different setups but each site has outdoor seating available. Some sites have 2 chairs and a table and others had picnic tables. We had attached, enclosed screen rooms on both cabins that were good for sitting out and not having to worry about the bugs. Both screen porches had 2 plastic chairs each and a little table. Cabins have cold A/C and a ceiling fan. When we arrived the cabins were very warm but they cooled off quickly when we turned the A/C and fan on. Shower had good pressure, small shampoos and bar soap provided along with wash clothes.

Cabins are close together so there is not much privacy however everyone was extremely nice when we were there so it was not a problem at all. We did have a little bump in the road because I chose to optionally pay ahead of the stay and they had not dealt with that before but a quick call to Booking.com customer service walked us through completing the check in.

Cottage was perfect. Really clean and the set up was amazing for 2. Lot of room and everything we needed was there. We will definitely be coming back.

Wifi was a little slow. I was able to have it on my cellphone but my girlfriend was not able to have it. TV connexion work on the 1st day but stopped for whatever reason on the 2nd morning t'ill the end of our stay.

The cottage was clean and as expected. It was quiet and just enough room for my husband, myself and our beagle. My husband tried out the pool and that was very nice also.

The coffee maker did not work. That was a disappointment. We had to travel out to Duncan to get our coffee both days. Not a huge deal, but most inconvenient.

cottage was beautiful, shower water pressure blew my expectations for a little cottage, ac was a life saver, fridge was a great size for the weekend and loved the little grills/fire pits outside the unit

parking is a bit tight but who can complain about free parking

We had just stayed at a very sparse place with no amenities so the English Brook Cottages were a welcome change. We loved how our cottage had everything a family could need, and the poop was awesome. My son swam three times in two days.

The location was good everything that we did was within 30 minutes of cottages

The only thing I didn't like was we only had coffee for a day and enough towels for one day when they knew we were there for three nights. I really didn't like having to walk to the office to get my towels.

The playground was enjoyable for the kids, the grill and fire pit was our favorite part. Loved our ground apartment as well. Honestly we loved it all. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was very clean staff was very nice & helpful. Great location quiet & pleasant, much better than in Village which was busy & noisy. I felt it was a great choice to stay there.

Might want a bit better set of towels but really for a short stay place altho small was very good!

Kevin and staff were attentive and very friendly! . We wanted a weekend to be able to relax and that is exactly what we were able to do. The location is super peaceful and clean.

Everything was well. Room for improvement would be more comfortable bedding.
