The queen size bed was very comfortable. Standard bathroom, nothing fancy, but definitely suitable.

The room was small, and the queen size bed filled most of it. This is an older hotel, renovated nicely, but not a place that you’d want to hang out in because it was pretty cramped.

Good location - easy walk to everything or hop on subway at Grand Central. Comfortable and clean. Staff were fantastic - special shoutout to Brendan who went above and beyond when we mentioned we were celebrating our engagement.

Some rooms looking very very tired - stayed here 9 years ago and nothing had changed since. Think it just needs a little lift with some new paint, carpets etc.

Room was very nice, definitely smaller than I expected but good size for a hotel room in New York. It was very clean. The location was perfect, far enough away from Time Square to reduce the noise at night but close enough to be able to walk about 15 minutes and be in the heart of it all. Bed was very comfy and clean, the staff amazing, the folks at reception were so warm and welcoming. The brown/red haired Tyrone lady in the back bar! Such true Irish charm and hospitality thank you for that.

There was really nothing to say that I didn't like. Maybe a broader menu on the bar but that would be, being picky.

After a couple of hiccups when we arrived, after a long journey tired and grumpy, I am pleased to say that Brendan on the front desk, totally understood our position and took immediate action to ensure that our frowns quickly turned into smiles. Brendan went the extra mile for us to make our stay in New York the best it could be and I can’t thank him enough. The room was beautiful and it is THE quietest hotel you can stay in, not one siren was heard the whole week.

Unfortunately the coffee machine isn’t great (filter rather than pods) and the issued cups are takeaway cups, which I’m not a fan of. However I did mention this to Brendan and he quickly sorted a tray with proper cups and saucers and fresh milk rather than creamer in packets. It would have been nice if the cups could have been washed or replaced daily and the tea bags and milk refreshed daily but I did have to ask several times for this, and empty my own disposable cup of the used tea bags as the room servicer didn’t think to do this.

Location of this hotel was so perfect near transport links like grand central. Walking distance of shopping and central park and other attractions like Summit chrysler rockafeller The bed was very comfortable slept like a baby every night. All the staff were very friendly and super attentive to anything we asked. But the Location is the main seller here. Hotel was also very warm and welcoming we had an issue with lights and it was fixed once we came back

If you want a view you may not get one but you're not spending too much time in the room

Staff on the front desk were amazing. Did so much to accommodate us with late check out when guest was feeling unwell. Always friendly and chatty every time you go in and out of the hotel. Great location also, close to train and within walking distance to so many attractions. Rooms great size for New York.

Had a great time but a fridge in the room would have been great, given the warm New York summers.

They let me check in early, I felt very safe as a solo female traveler, and to my surprise, the room was so quiet! I barely heard any street noise, which is so rare in NYC. They also held my bags for me after I checked out so that I could walk around the city freely before my flight. Also, the location was perfect!

The elevator had a bit of a wait time and was small, and the wifi wasn't locked, so it wasn't the most secure connection, though nothing bad happened.

The room was very warm

My grandparents were from Ireland and this hotel reminded me of how they lived. It's modern and yet the Irish influence makes it very different from most NYC hotels. Waiting in the lobby until check-in turned into an unexpected immersion into Irish socializing by Irish flight crews. Their brogues brought back so many memories for me.

A party nearby seemed to create sonic vibrations. It was over when I got back from dinner.

Location and most of the staff were professional & welcoming

We requested a twin room (2 queen beds) which was confirmed in the booking via email with an additional charge of 50 euro a night - however the room was not available - only a small king room with a fold up bed - we eventually got moved to another room the following day - this was all very time consuming & stressful.
