Staff very friendly and helpful, easy check-in and check-out. The room nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The building was nice, everything in good condition and functioning well.

The towels were tiny. We stayed two nights and after our first night, the room did not receive maid service. We assumed there would be replaced towels and the bed made but it was not. They do a good job with breakfast with the exception of the eggs. They resemble a bowl of yellow breadcrumbs, likely powdered eggs. We didn't care, but since you are asking, that is the truth. The location of a busy mall leaves a guest searching for a parking space which was in this case not great.

The location very convenient with shops and about dozen restaurants at property…also right off Bronx Expressway without the crazy traffic inside the city

The staff was courteous and helpful! Having breakfast included in our stay made everything so much easier for our students who were on their way to Fordham University for a summer camp. We loved the location because the outdoor mall that this Hyatt Place is located within was filled with great shopping and restaurants. The Hyatt Place, Yonkers is an excellent choice to stay if you are visiting Fordham University, as it is only a quick drive away.

Breakfast was better than expected. The room was comfortable and well-kept. You should emphasize the fact that the mall is next door...was a great surprise!

The washrooms at the ground level, especially the ones next to the pool, really need to be better taken care of...They would need more regular cleaning. We went there a couple of times to avoid going back upstairs and every time they could have been cleaner...but we will return nonetheless.

The hotel was beautiful and in a wonderful location inside of the Cross County Mall complex. Staff were super friendly. Convenient to metronorth also.

The door to our room was very difficult to open and close. Ice machines was only on every other floor. Breakfast was just OK. Your basic continental breakfast. Would have preferred a shower stall to a bathtub with shower.

Front dest are always polite . Breakfast is good. I love the pillows. Bathroom is excellent. Overall is a great place to stay.

Price is really high. The lobby upstairs going towards my room was a little dirty needed vacuuming. Which I understand some people can be messy . I also think front desk can tell people to try & be respectful of talking so loud in the hallway , people sometimes are trying to rest . But my stay was good.

The room was spacious, quiet, clean, and comfortable. The hotel was conveniently located in a mall with easy access to food options and shops. And the staff members were very friendly and helpful.

My only complaint is that the breakfast space is on the small side and was very crowded when we were there. It was difficult to navigate. That said, we were able to find a table each morning.

We stayed here in May of 2023 to attend the Fordham University Graduation. The hotel is located within a shopping mall with a lot of very nice shop and restaurants within walking distance, which I loved. Weather was terrible which made enjoying the property difficult. You do need to park in the mall parking lot which I didn't like at first but being in a city, I guess we were lucky to have parking! Highly recommend

As previous stated, parking lot is not specific to the hotel. It was not an issue whatsoever, I just found it odd.

The staff was professional. Absolutely wonderful. The hotel is in a great location. My room was beautiful. Comfortable for my family. I will definitely return. Especially if you offer lower rates and discounts. I'll be watching and waiting. It's perfect for a quick getaway. Just to relax for myself and my husband.

Everything. Just need to improve on breakfast choices.

Front desk is essentially the face of the property, the first thing a guest sees when walking in. Because of this, front desk/ front office staff should always have a smile on their faces or at least hold a pleasant demeanor. While the front desk staff looked impeccable, their sour demeanors were not welcoming nor friendly. I almost felt like I was intruding when I approached the desk to check in. I was however, efficiently and professionally checked in and my stay was enjoyable. Front desk should take lessons from Housekeeping staff in friendliness and hospitality. Housekeeping staff was wonderfully friendly and welcoming; and the room was spotless.
