We did not eat at the hotel restaurant but heard many guests compliment the food/service/cost. This is in a perfect location. The beach access is across the road but there is a crosswalk with a caution light that all traffic respected. The beach access is a long wooden platform walkway that makes is easy to get beach items from the hotel to the beach with no hassle. The beach is beautiful and not crowded. When you return there is a rinse station and shoe brushes to get the sand off. This hotel is also pet friendly. They keep full water bowls outside for dogs. The hotel parking is a small fee but worth it since the lot is very secure and away from the public. The staff were extremely friendly. The housekeeping staff were so kind and helpful. We already know we are returning. As far as the location, they are close to Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, and Morehead City. The local restaurants have great food and good vibes. The people are friendly and if you have children there is a beautiful aquarium, water park, laser tag, mini golf, go carts, etc. The hotel has a pool that had a nice variety of seating to lounge in the sun or shade. Hotel Alice serves every kind of guest from families to dog lovers to couples. I highly recommend it if you are planning to visit the area!

Sorry I forgot his name by the nice guy working front desk was a blessing !! Kind and caring since we were displaced from the hurricane.. he was so helpful! He walked with me to 2 rooms to see which was best for my little boy in a wheelchair. Love the area, coffee was good, nice sitting area out front, beach access, nice clean pool area.

Housekeeping was very nice, but not very thorough in cleaning. But all in all it was ok. We had been told we could extend our stay for a bit of a reduced price as our power was still off at home .. however the lady at front desk charged full price plus another $10 deposit which was never returned on either stay :( thought she may be a bit more considerate .. but the guy who was at the front desk most, is a wonderful asset to Hotel Alice and made our difficult time much easier!

hotel was very nice .. clean .. liked that they had breakfast and a bar for evening! Pool and seating very nice .. gym nice too but didn't use! lol Hotel staff nice and very helpful needing extra towels, etc. Housekeeping very nice and sweet.

mattresses extremely uncomfortable .. beds should also be larger than a full size .. one king and one queen would be perfect! One front desk person had a miserable attitude and was not personable at all .. this reflects on hotel as it a guest's first point of contact when getting there ... he was just miserable but it did NOT ruin my stay or the hotel rating.

Location,pet friendly,(absolutely no odor) parking,rinse station available,everyone friendly and accommodating,history of the place was interesting .

Maybe a little expensive, but what isn't now days. I didn't mind so much since everything was great. We weren't there on the weekend but it was also very quiet during our stay.

Love the look of the hotel, the location in proximity to the beach, every front desk clerk was welcoming and accomodating. Customer service was on point. Hotel mamager should be proud. Also loved that it was pet friendly. The hotel is very beautifully designed. Very art deco.

The room was not thoroughly cleaned... there was hair in the pillow case and tub, sand from previous visitors all over couch, the sheets on the pull out were dirty... floor wasn't thoroughly swept or mopped. I was so excited to revisit this hotel only for the room to be sub-parr cleaned.The walls were dirty. Also, if you book on booking.com, it gives the impression that breakfast is included from 6a to 10a... but its 10dollars a person.

The location was good, and it was easy to get to restaurants and other attractions. we had some issues with our room when we first arrived at the hotel. We informed management and they were willing to move us to another room, however, we were going to a wedding on the beach and did not have time to change rooms. Management contacted me the next day and discussed the issues that we had. They were very kind and apologize about the issues we had during our stay. Because of the concern that hotel management had for us and our issue, my family and I will stay at Hotel Alice. It meant so much to me when they contacted me the day after I left the hotel to apologize and discuss how they plan to correct the issue. This showed the professionalism and concerned they have for their guest and their property. I plan to visit Hotel Alice again in September or early October before it gets cold. August 2024

What I hate the most is that last year they put an open bar right down stairs I use to allow my kids to hang out down there because they had a sitting area with a TV now you can't even allow your kids to go down stairs just to watch TV and enjoy themselves without having to worry about drunks doing anything to them and the second thing that they just started that I hate is now you have to pay for breakfast when it use to be free for all these years and you get charged an extra $10 to make sure you don't damage any of their properties I'm not sure what happened but it had to been one bad apple that messed it up for everybody but other then that this will always be my number one pick I love this beautiful place

Facility was great! It smelled and looked clean upon arrival, which is a plus. It was nicely decorated and the bar/eating area was very inviting even though we did not use those services during this stay. Staff was super friendly and the front desk associate was super sweet when I asked for additional towels. I really liked the fact that there was no carpet in the room, which made it feel more updated and clean. My family enjoyed our stay.

My only constructive feedback would be to update the mini fridge, as my drinks never really got cold and the beds could use some updating, as they were comfy but the base was squeaky. Neither of those would deter me from booking another stay here and we will likely be back. :)

The staff was very accommodating for us. When we arrived there was a hole in the wall by the window and it had water damage on it.My husband went down to the front desk to report it we didn’t want any extra charges for them thinking it was us. They immediately sent a repair man to our room along with 2 sets of room keys and allowed us to pick which room was best suited for our family. After the 2nd night we asked for housekeeping to come in and clean our room . We had sand in the floor and just to wipe the counters down and tidy up a little and get fresh towels . They did a amazing job. We went down for breakfast one morning while there and got fresh warm bagels and yogurt for breakfast along with tea and coffee that was just as wonderful. Every staff member we meet there from the girls at the front desk to the maintenance man and even the housekeepers , everyone of them was so friendly and welcoming to us . They said hello and spoke to us and made us more comfortable. We never stayed as a family at a hotel out of fear it would be to noisy. I was pleasantly surprised when we never heard a sound from another room . This was the most quiet place I have ever stayed in . Let’s also mention the price . This hotel was literally right across from the beach access. I would definitely love to stay here again !

We absolutely loved everything! Staff was helpful and very kind and always went above and beyond! Check in and out was very smooth and easy! The room was clean and beds so comfortable it was hard to get out of them! The Hotel was so beautiful and very well kept! The location was very nice and right across the street from the beautiful Alantic. Matter of fact we loved it so much we already booked another vacation for granddaughters 16th Birthday. We plan to make this our vacation spot for beach trips from now on!
