For the price it was more then enough. The space was a lot bigger then I expected. I did not expect a full kitchen. This was more a suite then a motel room. Everything was dated, but for the money it was perfect.

Walls are very thin, you can hear the tv upstairs, and conversations. Bed was stiff linens were noticeable used, but I expected this with the price I paid. I more then got my moneys worth and if I am traveling by myself I would stay again.

Booked months in advance and had no problems on arrival. Go here with realistic expectations....it's not new,but it's clean,safe and quiet with easy access to highway. Plenty of restaurants, gas stations , stores close by. Denise, the manager was helpful from day 1 of booking right down to simple requests while on-site. At check-in I requested an extra blanket be dropped off in room. Sat luggage in room and ran right out to dinner. Just over 1 1/2 hrs later when we returned....blanket in chair just inside the door. Later in stay asked for few extra wash cloths ...no problem, handed right over. It was also nice that room has so many outlets (as I have to travel with medical equipment). Everything we used worked....I didn't try anything outside of room. Had another little "adventure " while there and manager helped with that for a happy outcome for all. We would stay again and staying longer would be easy as the suites have full kitchens....no dinky little hotel fridge....a full size fridge so you can keep more than 2 bottles of water (or whatever 😉) cold. We were there for short stay for a wedding, would like to go back and stay longer to see the museum close by and...the carousel in Shelby Park.

Low toilet....look before you sit 1st time...it's lower than you're probably used to, and it could surprise you...LOL... but let's be truthful....that's not a problem and could be a blessing I guess if you have small children with you.

I was very pleased with the suite, rather than single room, set-up. It was far more comfortable having more space. The amount of space I got for the price was incredible. The manager, Denise, was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Because of her, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room, and the great location, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The wiFi was slow and unpredictable, and I would have liked that to be solid, as I had work to do related to my stay. I had a bit of trouble sleeping due to the sounds coming through the walls. I used earplugs and a sleep app, and they helped.

Very Clean, Spotless to be exact, Whom ever is Managing maintenance and the upkeep of the property should be greatly appreciated. I could actually walk bafe feet through out the apartment no scum or crumbs anywhere, not 1 strand of hair in the bathroom. It was a very pleasant stay and not to mention the hospitality in the office was very welcoming and also clean with a wonderful fragrance.

Denise was so accommodating to both my wife and I. The room was very spacious, like an apartment, clean, and Denise ensured that we had a room on the first floor since I am a disabled veteran. Denise made us feel at home and is truly an asset to Affordable Suites. I have nothing but good things to say about our stay. We will return!

LOCATION- OFF THE MAIN HWY (74) THRU SHELBY. SITUATED BACK IN A QUIET AREA IN A COMMERCIAL SECTOR WITH PLENTY OF CONVENIENCES.... WALMART, GROCERY STORES, AND RESTAURANTS ARE IN CLOSE VICINITY. ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE. DENISE THE MANAGER INTERACTED WELL AND WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING.

I hesitate to tell ya'll how much I enjoyed staying here because I really want it to be my little secret. :-) I kind of discovered this place by accident, but I will definitely be back! As a female traveling alone, I felt very safe and everyone was super friendly. The place was clean, inside and out. The bed slept comfortably. Parking was right by the door. I will definitely be back!

Very clean apartment with plenty of space. Also in a quiet location.

Had to provide our own coffee and there were no kitchen utensils , possibly due to the fact that we had booked at late notice.

I arrived after dark and was having a problem figuring out where the property was but a phone call to Denise solved the problem. She was able to give me detailed instructions and I then found the property without any issues.

I had no issues with this property.
