This is a roadside motel close to the northern entrance to Crater Lake. It IS an extremely old building, with low, squat ceilings, but it's built of concrete, not wood, and for that reason is extremely well insulated - you'll hardly need the heater or AC - PLUS I could hear absolutely no noise from my neighbors (except when they passed by the front door). I also found it clean, and the bathroom water and drains worked fine. The old couple who runs it were friendly and helpful. The room rate was reasonable. I admit it didn't look like much, but it was a pleasant surprise, and well worth it.

The check in was quick and easy, and the attendant was friendly and polite. The rooms were basic motel spaces, but I could tell they worked really hard to keep it fresh and clean - all the linens had that classic hotel bleach smell, and the carpets looked great. The bed was firm and comfortable. The mini fridge and outlets all worked well. I was very pleased, it honestly exceeded our expectations for a small motel in a small town, and if we're in the area we plan to stay there again.

The only thing I wish was different was the shower was pretty small and it leaked a bit where the spout was attached to the wall. We both had trouble getting in the path of the water since it was not adjustable.

Clean, budget friendly, and convenient spot for a simple night's rest before a trip to Crater Lake and Toketee Falls. Travel center, gas stations, cafes, and a food truck nearby with delicious tacos.

Noise from the main road.

The room was very clean. Loved having a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker in the room - saved a lot not having to eat out every meal. Bed was comfortable.

This is not a complaint against Budget Inn, but rather Booking.com. There seemed to be some lack of communication between Booking.com and the proprietor, which necessitated a couple long waits on the phone for Booking.com and then in the end, Budget Inn was charged an extra fee. (I left a tip to cover his fees, but it was wrong for him to be charged.)

The owners are always very friendly to my family and I. I really like the Pilot truck stop right behind the motel because it made it easy to get snacks for the kids.

It's right off the highway, so you do hear the semi trucks passing through, but honestly, it was not that bad at all.

It was a retro hotel that looked like it was built in the 40's but it had recently been painted and the linens were clean and the room had great amenities.

The cable was lacking and the remote was confusing.

I expected it to be cheap because of the price and location, and it was perfectly fine for what it is. The building/room is clearly very old, but very well taken care of. Everything worked that needed to be (the big fan was a nice touch, really helped me sleep).

My only complaint was the wi-fi, which was abysmally slow. But again, can't hold it against them because I'm sure there's not great options in this area, so I'm not upset about it. People might want to know if they're planning on getting any work done though.

Staff was very friendly, helpful. Even though it was next to a gas station, it was not noisy.

Room was very small, hard to regulate the heat. This motel is dated, but ok for an overnight stay

The location is close to Crater Lake and the bed is comfortable. The heat works as well as the other equipment.

It is old and needs a lot of work. It is next to the highway so there's road noise.

Price was fair. Good enough for my purposes.

The north entrance to Crater Lake was closed, so Chemult was a bit out of the way. No reflection on the hotel. The only open restaurant in town was the Mexican food truck in the parking lot.
