The room was spacious, clean and relatively comfortable. The lighting was very good and there were multiple outlets all over the room. The breakfast was great, lots of choices of real home cooked food. A short easy walk to the beach, although the last bit is a bit challenging.

The spa in the room wasn't in working order and the blinds next to the spa had a 4" gap at the bottom that allowed anyone outside to see into the bathroom area. We pointed it out to the staff and they had the maintenance guy come by to check it out. They knew about the spa and were unaware of the blind issue. We were offered a discount for the none working spa. The coffee could have been a bit stronger in the breakfast bar, but everything else was superb.

We pulled in after dark and thought the layout was a little weird with the main floor being level 2 and level 1 under ground. We were pleasantly surprised to hear the roaring of the waves from our room and that we had a big balcony. Next morning we found that we could see the ocean from our room and level 1 could walk right out to the beach. Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and helpful and numberal.

The place looks rundown from the outside and the pool and laundry building needs some updating. As a bonus it looks like they put all their updates in their fabulous rooms.

We absolutely loved the view, location, and bed!! We both had the best sleep we have had all week when we stayed here. The bed was so soft I felt like I was melting into it! Slept like a rock all night. I had no idea that we had an ocean view! Just a very short trail to the beach too, only like 100ft from the hotel! We absolutely loved the view from our balcony, and loved that we had a balcony even on the lowest floor!

The only downside was that the spa tub was broken; the jets wouldn't work. Aside from that, the water faucet on the tub worked so it was fine!

We go here every year for vacation. We love the oceanfront view from our room, the staff is great, if there is anything that we need it’s taken care of. This place is special to me and my husband. We got married on Gold Beach at the end of the beach. We are already thinking about next year on when to come back and stay.

The room was super clean, tastefully updated and very comfy! The bed was Fantastic, like sleeping on a cloud and ample pillows were provided! The room is well laid out for convenience; we loved that the little kitchen area (microwave, coffee maker and fridge) were in the same nook across from the sink and not out in the room. Shower was fantastic. Room was spacious and we loved that our pet friendly room had carpet so it was soft on our bare feet. Parking was easily accessable from our room, as was beach access. The windows and sliding door with balcony were great to have and added to the ambiance. Overall great value for the price. A+ guys, will absolutely stay again and totally recommend!

The location is excellent. The water views are fantastic. Staff was very pleasant. The room was huge and comfortable. Everything was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good -- hot fresh options, not just pastries in a bag. We did not have a chance to go to the beach or sightsee as we were on a long road trip.

No concerns. I said "not romantic" because everyone has a different idea of what's romantic. I was traveling with my best friend -- romance wasn't a factor lol.

We really liked how close to the beach it was. It was definitely better than what we expected after reading reviews. Bed was comfortable and the room was much bigger than expected.

The neighbor we had was extremely loud and fighting most of the evening. Even woke me up with their fighting in the middle of the night. Not the hotels fault by any means.

Breakfast was good. We loved the waffles, eggs and ham.

Beds were very hard. I am still sore from them. And they didn't have ice machines so you had to ask front desk for a small bag. The front desk isn't open 24 hours so the first night I didn't get my ice water to drink.

The location was amazing, the view was spectacular and the room was really nice. The breakfast was even good. Overall great place to stay. They had no problem with our kids being kids or our dog!

One of the beds was super uncomfortable. The blankets were terrible they were more like sheets. The heater/ac filter was absolutely filthy and made my allergies act up.

The breakfast was good with hot food!!! The room was plenty of spaces and the be was clean and comfortable!! Very nice beach and not crowded. We saw a beautiful baby deer running in the back yard :-) Very nice!!!

The sliding door to the patio was hard to open. I had to lift it up and push to get it open.
