Everything was great except for what I mentioned below.

The door and entrance to our room looked like someone had tried to break into the room prior to our visit. The room was 304.

The room was clean and comfortable. The mini kitchen was very accommodating. The bed was comfortable as well.

Breakfast wasn’t offered, but the price was reasonable enough that we chose to book anyway. Plus there was a good sized fridge in room that allowed for our own food choices. 😎

The location was good. It was clean and quiet. Would have to consider it for our next trip to Charleston.

In one of the bedrooms, the ac/heating units did not seem to work properly, but that was not an issue since we did not use that room.

The staff are wonderful and very accommodating, especially Kiera and Yolanda. Very helpful. The hotel is clean and ample handicap parking! Housekeeping was always available with towels, etc.

We requested a handicap room, specifically for the accessibility of the bathroom. But when we used the zero-entry shower, the whole floor of the bathroom flooded because the pitch to the drains is way off. It made a complete mess and an even more dangerous situation for my handicapped son, due to the wet floor and slipperiness. No mats in the showers is a huge concern for both bathrooms. Also no table seating for wheel chair for meals, made it difficult.

That staff only cleans rooms 1 time every 7-10 days. Our bed clothes were only changed once in a 10 day stay! Would have given a 10, but we didn't know the suite where they put us was near pet friendly rooms, which is not advertised. I'm highly allergic to dogs. A customer left a puppy unattended, and it barked uncontrollably for two hours when we were trying to nap. It was horrible! Only when we threatened to check out to find another hotel did the staff finally call the dog owner to remove the puppy. Assuming they left because the issue was resolved after.

Just what we needed. Comfortable, clean, and roomy. We prepared our breakfast and a lite supper each day in the kitchen and spent the day sightseeing with a big mid day meal out. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. The location was pretty central for what we wanted to do. Typical hotel noises nothing off-putting. We enjoyed the ability to stream from our phone to the TV for a relaxing end to the day.

Nothing, really. A dining bar or small table would have made the room a 10. Maybe other rooms have one? One of us ate at the desk, and the other had to stand at the kitchen counter.

My husband and I loved that had a laundry area to wash our clothes. The employees were so nice and accommodating. They made sure we were comfortable. They were able to help us with another room because the room we had the door was too easy to open. We didn’t need the key to open it. We let them know what was going on and they accommodated us right away. We were very pleased.

One thing that we didn’t like was that the room we had at first was the door that went into the room was easy to open. We didn’t need the key to open the door. We didn’t feel comfortable staying in there.

I cannot recommend this more. It was a great price point and the kitchen let me save on coffee...meals...etc. Super comfortable bed and pillows. I could stay there for months at a time. Location was okay. The savings made up for transport costs.

Hmmm. It may be an idea to give your guests an info sheet on where they can walk/drive for something to eat. Wholefoods really worked for me.
