I extend my gratitude to Elizabeth and Dave, we had a lovely time at their house. I only wish we could have stayed longer! The house is rich in history and our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly.

I honestly can't say anything bad. Chester is not necessarily a destination town, but that is no reflection on the accommodation. We stopped through Chester on a road trip and really loved the little town.

The house is beautiful with a great history and decorated inside with fun blues memorabilia. The hosts, Elizabeth and Dave, were exceptionally friendly and fun to be with. They graciously gave us free ice when we came in late. The breakfast was cooked to order, especially appreciated because of being a vegetarian and needing to eat gluten free. We were able to park in their yard off the street.

We had difficulty figuring out how to get hot water in the bathroom. Booking.com's description of the property led us to think that there would be a fridge and microwave (which admittedly we didn't really expect for a bed and breakfast); they were accessible and I am sure the hosts would have let us use them if need be but perhaps the property description needs to be fine tuned?

Breakfast was de-licious. I'm not sure whether Dave or Elizabeth prepared it, or a combination of both of them. The bacon was perfect, the eggs were sweet and lovely, and the potatoes and onions were yummy! Carrot juice was offered as an option to orange juice to suit our preference!

Nothing. All B&Bs should be this comfortable, clean, and inviting. Elizabeth and Dave have a great place and it was a pleasure to share it with them.

We stayed in 2 rooms. They were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with David and Elizabeth. Their love of the blues led to a breakfast sing-off! Most memorable bnb yet!!

Beautiful old home with unique and eclectic decor. Very clean and secure.

The front door’s security system needs to be replaced. On numerous occasions we could not unlock the door and had to arouse the owner to gain entry.

The hosts are so sweet and make a delicious breakfast! My husband and I absolutely loved our stay and the great connection we had with the hosts!

There was nothing to not like.

I liked the people our hosts and we loved the room very nice the host Elizabeth really made us feel like we were at home away from home we would stay again

Hosts Dave and Elizabeth were very kind and perfect hosts. Breakfast and coffee were outstanding. Home is like a museum and full of blues memorabilia. Bed in the Memphis Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. A memorable stay!

Almost prejudged the street. would have been unfortunate had we done so.

Owners are extremely nice and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, after spending many days in a nasty loud hotel, coming here was exactly what we needed. I slept so good and the jazz atmosphere was incredible!
