We loved how clean everything was. The lobby has beautiful decorations. Check-in was super easy and the staff was friendly. Our room was extremely clean. My husband and I went to the bar that evening and had a wonderful time chatting with the bartender (I wish I remembered his name) and one of the locals. I really can't wait to come back and hopefully stay longer

I wish the bar opened before 5 pm..I also wish there was something besides sports or news on TV. The only other thing I can say is I wish they offered more mixed drinks such as a bloody Mary or a rum runner to name a couple. I'm sure they could have been made but offering on the menu with a price would make it better to save from asking a lot of questions and seeming annoying.

I was pleasantly surprised. After reading some negative reviews, I found our room on the 5th floor to be nice. There were dogs staying but all seemed to be on the same floor (2) and were not an issue at all. We stayed 5 nights. Breakfast was very good with several hot choices served buffet style. Better than the typical hotel breakfast. Housekeeping only services room every 3 days for stays of 4 nights or more but you can get extra towels and trash removal if needed. All employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. Would definitely choose this hotel to stay again.

The only improvement would have been daily room service by housekeeping, but not a big issue.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Glad to see turkey sausage and bagels, and that there were several hot dishes and also fruit. Staff at breakfast were friendly and helpful.The comfort of the chairs and the beautiful decor were charming. My room was spacious, quiet, and well supplied. The king bed was very supportive.

Would appreciate "real" scrambled eggs and biscuits that weren't crumbly. Also, TV should be on a calm channel like HGTV - not reactionary political ranting. Had to close my ears to it. Parking was good but an extra disabled spot closer to the door would be a good idea.

This is a great location. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, but like many of the areas of the hotel, needs some fixing up. The lobby staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had many options from cold cereal to sausage gravy and biscuits. The ladies who worked the buffet were very nice. There's a bar and food options available in the evenings. This is a dog-friendly hotel with a small charge.

There are areas of the hotel that need some fixing up, there was some damage to the bathroom door in our room and the desk was a bit warped. The elevators and their areas could use some cleaning.

Convenient to where we wanted to go. Breakfast free and good. Room clean but smelled like mildew. Bathroom excellent and very clean. Overpriced but standard for the area--everything overpriced!!!

Room a bit musty because the air conditioner hasn't been cleaned in a LONG TIME. Front desk personnel indifferent to the guests--need training in customer service. No regular room service which they attributed to being green--I attributed it to failure to hire staff.

Over all experience I enjoyed my stay. I have no complaints. Just to say with it being no carpet in the rooms it's kind of hard to see the dust and bill up on the floors. A good moping every other day depends on the turn over would be something to consider.

My stay was great. I had a room on the first floor. And with being close to the restaurant🍴 and being the weekend it was very enjoyable. I can say it was the vacation I needed even though I was working.⚒

Staff were accommodating. Since we booked through 3rd party(booking.com), we were told that that they only had to promise a room. They gave us a room w 2 double beds. On booking.com my reservation was confirmed for a room w a king bed. We arrived after midnight so we were too exhausted from our 11 hour drive to question our reservation.

The next morning the desk attendant found us a room w a king and we were transferred to that room for the remainder of our stay. We were surprisingly told that they were unable to print a receipt out for us due to our booking the room through a third party. Never was told ‘that’ before when booking through booking through Booking. Com…..

The Wyndham Garden Summerville Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. It was a absolute delight dealing with the staff there. In fact, I requested a rather early check-in at twelve noon, but when we got to the hotel the young lady told me that there were no rooms ready at that time. We decided to go have some lunch, and before we could walk to the Ye Old Fashioned down the street, a seven minute walk, the young lady called me and emailed me to let me know that a room had just been finished being cleaned and that I could check in. Most hotels don't even consider giving you a check in as early as twelve, but the Wyndham Garden Summerville went above and beyond to make it happen for us.

Not a thing could have been better.

Check in was pretty efficient. The lobby is very welcoming. The lounge area looked amazing, although we didn't use it. The room was spacious and clean. Overall a pleasant experience.

I was confused about the breakfast. When booking when I checked breakfast for amenities the price increased by about $40. That was a ridiculous price for breakfast, so I opted out and just booked the room. When I checked in the clerk told me what the breakfast hours were, and I asked it was included. She said it was, just tell the server our room number. We already had plans with family for breakfast, so I didn't pursue the issue. Also, the elevators were pretty far from our room but other than that it was a great stay.

When i 1st walked in i felt comfortable and safe. Everything in the beginning was smooth and fast and the bar just right there on your right side once u go in. I felt like i walked in a club loud music but pleasant.

My bathroom ceiling paint was peeling off real bad. Little blood stains on cover and it was ripped some. I was on the 4th floor. And next day i had no towels or wash cloths all day. I finally went to front desk after we took the kids to Folly Beach and they gave us some.
