It was clean and comfortable. The building looks like a lodge inside with a beautiful staircase and stone fireplace. The room was very large, larger than we had expected. Breakfast had a lot of choices both hot and cold. The lady at the desk when we checked in was very nice. They offer cookies and water at check in. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

When we arrived to our room the air conditioner had been on for some time and it was 63 in the room on an already very chilly night. The TV would not turn on, but the front desk person came to the room and got that rectified. As stated by others the bathrooms could stand a remodel.

I rode a motorcycle there, was able to park in front of the outside door to the room, that was comforting. The price was in line with others however this time of the year heading toward Sturgis nothing is cheap. The access to the highway was very convenient. I left before breakfast however I did have an excellent burger, the Day I arrived, at the ‘Depot’ restaurant, which I would also recommend and it was actually suggested to me by the check-in girl who was very pleasant. Kelly Inn provided a good stay, pool and hot tub were both good, room was large and comfortable. I will likely stay here again when passing through next time.

The staff was friendly and everything was clean. I liked that pets were allowed. I wasn’t traveling with one, but enjoyed getting to pet other’s dogs.

Breakfast was supposed to be ready at 6:30a and I think the girl setting b’fast out arrived at 6:15 because what was set out was cold, the waffle irons weren’t hot, and not everything was out. We waited several minutes and finally left to get b’fast somewhere else because we needed to get on the road. The lady at the front desk apologized, which was nice and I could tell she was frustrated with the situation.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Bathroom was clean, needs some repairs by actual contractors with experience. (See below) Outlets, fridge, and a/c worked. Good job housekeeping!

Breakfast was okay. Plenty of food. Unfortunately the eggs were cold, some still frozen. Tub and shower are narrow with sloped sides that actually made it hard to stand up in. It may not have been level. The tiles adjacent to the tub were repaired- badly. It is evident that water gets behind them. They are uneven and grouted incorrectly. The drywall repairs are obvious and starting to come apart- due to poor adherence of materials or poor choice of materials or both.

Breakfast was very good. ( my wife enjoys the biscuit & gravy .. Not for me though ) Bed is comfortable . Very close to amenities . Location was easy to find . Easy access to the interstate. Also had a outdoor table for usage

Coffee is not very good .. tastes like coloured water ( We find this in a lot of stops on our travels ) As far as the outdoor table .. more than 1 would be great. ( reason being : when the weather is warm as it was ; it's nice to sit out as opposed to in). Last and not least .. Chlorine odour from pool was harsh

The night staff person who checked me in was very friendly and I liked that they had bottled water there for the guests. Coming off a long day of travel it was just what I needed. Conveniently located next to food, shopping and the interstate.

I called a couple of days ahead to see if I could check in earlier due to a funeral I was going to and was treated rudely and just a sharp "NO!" I understand it is pheasant hunting going on and they are busy, but it wasn't even entertained or put on a list, just sharp "NO!"

This hotel was very good. Rooms were clean and large . Swimming pool was cold but so are most but jacuzzi was lovely after a day sightseeing and driving . It is set amongst shops and plenty of places around the hotel to eat within walking distance. We ate at Blarneys Bar across the other side of the road and it was a very good meal and drinks at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was good plenty of choice although not a large space to sit in. I would recommend this and stay again if passing.

The building and lobby were beautifully designed.

Upon arrival, we requested 2 rooms on the first floor with outside entry doors (instead of 2nd floor). The front desk (Matt), informed us that it would be a $50 upgrade for each room! That wasn't worth it for us. The room was spacious, but the bathroom/shower enclosure needed to be updated. The ice machine on the 2nd floor was out of order, but it was working on the first and third floors...figures. The water in the pool looked extremely cloudy and not inviting at all.

Inviting decor, good welcome to rustic SD. Parking and loading easy. Lobby very lodge-like. Front desk check-in great, with helpful information, bottled water and cookies. Fun! Helpful suggestions for local dining. Room very nicely appointed.

Breakfast good, although lots of emphasis on sugary-items. Also pretty toasty and crowded in the fire-place area, charming as it was. Need some simple directions for use of the TV - even just to catch the news.

The staff was amazingly wonderful…..the night manager went out of his way to fix our TV volume that was not working…..really felt like I was home with the type of family atmosphere the staff has created…..it was simply a super pleasant experience and I would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend Kelly Inn and suites
