We ate at the grill and the food was good. While we were there, they started roasting s'mores and the kids had so much fun. The location at Lake Conroe is absolutely beautiful. We had a memorable experience and will hopefully go back again for a longer stay.

There was only one thing that needed improvement in my opinion. We called the front desk one morning to clean the ash bucket for the barbecue pit and they didn't clean it until later that evening. We had to go so far as to ask the cleaning staff for their assistance because it took so long.

Everything about this place was wonderful with children. Calm, relaxing, close enough to town but felt secluded. The staff were wonderful with any questions and the amount of things to do included in the price kept my child busy for hours. A spring break destination in itself.

The only complaint I have were the drawers in the kitchen for utensils were extremely hard to open or would not open.

It's definitely not what I thought I was booking, but it was clean and fine. The value was a little high for what we came for. We came for a wedding so we didn't do anything on the property so if we had more time it would have been worth it I think.

The cabin or room, whatever you call them. was a little outdated for the money. We live in a tourist area, and it just seemed by what we have in our area for that value is more updated. The property itself was beautiful.

great location, they should advertise better that they dont have a working restaurant, or adjust the price. overall had a great weekend!

it will be nice if they would offer new towels, they do offer landry, i think it was included (hope it was) but when you go on vacation you dont want to be thinking about how to clean towels, more when you are using the pool

the lady who was in the main center was pretty awesome and all the staff did everything they could to accommodate us after the booking website for our reservation wrong. We love coming here and cant wait to be back.

that our first night we slept in a two bedroom cabin with 10 people

I got 2 cabins and they where awsome. My children where disappointed that we could not go out of town this year ( I had to cancel our trip to Miami was to $$$$$$). But as soon as they saw the cabins they where in awe. We did not get to do everything because there was so much for them to do. We only stayed 3 nights and 4 days next time I will stay a full week. The older boys loved basketball and the pool the little ones loved the pool and mini golf. I let the children explore the trails and they loved it. We grilled right in front of the cabin which was amazing but we also had a choice to grill by the water if we wanted to. My husband did shrimp and chicken tenders in the full kitchen (I brought utensils just in case we needed them but we didn't the kitchen was fully stopped with everything). I did not get to take a lot of pictures because we all where having so much fun, phones where down I repeat all phones where down ☺️😜. My family was having fun with each other. We played cards, Domino's and board games we had a ball. They boys took the little kids in the "woods" lol and told scary stories omg I could go on and on because I honestly think that this was the best vacation ever. I'm going back for my birthday but this time adults only 😉

The only thing I did not like was that I did not think that my grandchildren ages 8 months and 2 would need wristbands to go swimming. I guess it was a oversight on my part. I did not count them into my group so I was two wristbands short so my oldest son and his wife only stayed one day 😞 and went home.

Great nature getaway. We stayed in a two bedroom lodge, very spacious and comfortable. Definitely a great choice if you like to cook because the kitchen is fully equipped and there are grills in front. There was a nice living room and dining area. Each bedroom has access to a little backyard balcony, we even saw a baby deer outside one morning, and lots of birds; super cute if you like to open your blinds first thing in the morning. Ask for an activity schedule when you check in, the activity center has lots of cute activities. Horseback riding was relaxing.

The secondary bathroom was a little small, but it didn't bother me really.

I like that it was so peaceful and remote

That when I booked it, I thought the villa was a special name for the room at the hotel. Except it was a cabin(villa). I was a little shocked at first, but overall, it was nice. Also, the shower was too small.

Very nice place with a variety of different activities even though we weren’t there long to enjoy them.

There were a very loud group in the parking lot below our bedroom windows that kept us awake until after 2:00 a.m. I tried to call service desk to complain but got no answer. I texted the contact email I had on the account and did not have a reply until in the morning about 7. I felt like I had no one to contact at the time I needed.

The location and the rooms were nice.

The only problem I had was that my ice maker didn't work, they charged me $5,00 for a bag of ice, the air didn't work in one of the bedroom. but they bought me a portable air condition that worked fine, he later came and fixed the ice maker.
