rooms could have been a bit cleaner and some furniture replaced

It was a nice room. Room was big, comfortable and very clean. The staff are helpful and breakfast was good.

I did ask for a quiet room, which I got on the inside of the building, however, it was right above the pool and hot tub outside. Pool was supposed to close at 10 PM people are out there till past midnight with their car door open, listening to music in the parking lot. If the staff check the pool to make sure it was close at 10 this would not have been a problem.

This hotel has only two floors, each has an ice machine.

The furniture in the room is very old. The sofa looks like it's out of the trash. Beds in the description of the size of the queen but in fact very small. two not large people fit with difficulty. towels have stains. mini shampoo was one for a family of four. I had to go to reception and ask. breakfast has not much choice would like more healthy foods like yogurt.

it was close to everything we wanted to see and do Texas aquarium uss Lexington Selena museum, her monument, where she is laid to rest, and family home north beach also only a 20-25 minute drive to padre island where you can park on the beach just stop by any convenient store on the island $12 for a parking permit good for a year. the hotels pool was good, my son loved the gym and the breakfast wasn’t too bad. the room we had was a king bed suite with pull out couch in living room enough room for me my kids and granddaughter

only having on elevator but didn’t have to wait too long

The property was right off the highway and close enough to grocery stores and shopping strips. It felt safe and was quiet at all times of the day.

My husband was looking forward to doing some grilling and the site listed there was a grill on property. We were a bit saddened to find out that there was not one upon check in but that was nothing to ruin our stay.

Everything was absolutely breathtaking when we arrived to the hotel. The fountain itself proved to us that this was going to be a better stay than we initially thought. Once we stepped inside to the lobby, it was beautiful and smelled amazing! The pool was cute and conveniently accessed past the elevator which was perfect for guests. The room was clean, well maintained, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. The bathrooms were cleaned very well which was such as relief for us. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and even though the juice machine was out of order, they made sure to include cups of apple and orange juice available regardless. The staff was very courteous and friendly, and the ambience of the place as a whole was definitely comforting.

I think the only thing I can think of was maybe they need to really pay attention to the quality of their towels, they were very rough and felt like sandpaper, so I had to be very careful with my toddler after his shower because he has very sensitive skin due to his medical conditions. I had asked for an extra sheet and 3 towels, but they weren't in the room when we got there, And possibly some more breakfast options would be nice.

Our room has curtains that can’t be closed so you either have the sun setting right in your face or the spot light on the trees right outside our window lighting up the entire room. We had to Mcguyver the situation and use the ironing board and a hanger with pant clips to close it enough to allow us to sleep. (Also this may just be my previous hotel management experience haunting me but there’s a small hole in the shower wall with a weird stain around it and I immediately thought “bullet hole” and thought that stain might be blood. I’m sure it’s not but… it did creep me out about using the tub. Sorry, our stay was great but I’d maybe plaster it up.)

The hotel kitchen staff was the best! Very pleasant, upbeat, and polite lady. She stayed on top of spills and food, assisted children with milk/juice stations, and kept things tidy.

Hot tub was green, my room had damages that I hope I didn't have to pay for: Broken bottom kitchen cabinet door and broken cracked mirror closet door.

Location is great if you are with car. There is nice little pool area and they have a lot of free parking places for your car. Rooms are meaby old, everything was working very well and it was very clean! There was safe to be there, becouse US Marshall was sitting in our floor 24/7 :D AC-machine was great!

Breakfast was poor...juice machine was broken and cafe was cheap from machine.

I liked the quality of the hotel and the rate that was offered. The pool was great and the breakfast provided was fantastic. My wife definitely loved it.

The shower head could have been much better, but that is not a huge issue. The check-in lady could have been a little more courteous. I called the front desk to give me a wake-up call and we didn't even get the wake-up call, but overall it was a good stay.
